Power has been out for an hour in Mississauga. Anyone else lose power?

Stuck at work but thankful we have power. (Yonge and Wellsley area) subway is down. Feel bad for Adriana (co-worker) stuck in Markham at a hotel that has no power. Like seriously who knew the rain would cause the city to become paralyzed?
Too bad I couldn't be stuck there with her. I'm sitting in my office at Yonge and Eglinton hearing sirens all around.

I had to cancel a session at Select beacause of it.... :(

FYI: Only parts of the subway were closed, not the whole thing.

I left my office at 8:15 got home here just past 9:30, not too bad considering most of the traffic lights along the way were out. It was weird lights and power out for a few kms from Bathurst right across to Caledonia. Then a few blocks with power, a few blocks without, then power again, then another power outage but luckily now at home and power is on yay :)

For the most part drivers were good treating lights as a four way stop. But man a few of them are just brainless not even stopping at the intersection.

80% of Mississauga lost power. 300,000+ in Toronto without power - a big stretch from St Clair up to Lawrence from Bathurst to Keele. Parts of Etobicoke as well.

Crazy man. Sure its not at Calgary level but we haven't seen this kind of flooding since Hurricane Hazel. Gotta figure the damage and lost business is in excess of $200 million.

Wow, spectacular photographs of flooding on the Richmond Hill Rail Line, Lakeshore, and the DVP on the Internet. What a mess, very sorry to see this.
