I know and I sold too early:( Now I am kicking myself! I have a friend who is supposedly much more experienced in trading stocks and he told me to sell at 97 and buy back in when it dips well...it hasn't dipped yet! I stupidly listened to him. Always listen to your gut! I just bought GRPN looks like they are turning their business around for the better.

One of Smedley's Top Picks on BNN on Sept. 3 was Tesla, he called it a once-in-one hundred-year event. tsla sells a fraction of the vehicles Ford does with a much higher PE. Buy a few shares and hang on for the ride!

i'm not so sure though. What stops other car manufacturers from copying their technology?

?
What technology? There is nothing to copy.
Electric cars have been around for over 100 years and Ford and GM have had the means to build an all electric vehicle decades ago. Its unfortunate that the people at the top of the food chain grow richer via Energy (oil, electricity, etc...) and dictate to the masses what is available.

The day Tesla Motors can produce and all electric car below $30K, go over 1,000 Km on a single charge and production can keep up with demands...Ford, GM..and the rest of the auto manufacturers...will fall.

No more wasted trips to the gas pumps to refuel

Manufacturing technology and machine tools to cost effectively manufacture these electric cars obviously are only possessed by TSLA at the moment.
