Has anyone else considered starting their own agency? I am considering starting one, but have some questions. Hopefully some owners can help me out.
1)How much does the typical escort agency make (net) in one year?
2)What are some of the challenges?
3)How much do I need to start?
4)Have you ever been arrested or investigated by LE?
5)What are some skills you need to be successful?
6)What is the best advice you can give?
Thank you in advance for your answers. I look forward to them.
To answer your questions an agency is likely clearing around 100,000+ dependent on the number of girls that they have. It can go up. Keep in mind that many are not paying taxes.
Challenges would be legal, girls not showing up, reliable phone staff, reliable drivers, reliable security, securing incall locations, etc.
How much do you need to start. Maybe $1000. You don't necessarily need a website to start. Just advertise in the right spots with good pictures.
Have I ever been investigated - no. I was never an agency. I have been asked to run one, but I prefer a real career over sex work. Running an agency would fuck that up quite quickly. It will be easier to justify having done sex work versus having run the agency.
You need organization and marketing skills to be successful. I am going to be honest, every agency owner I have personally interacted with and worked for was shady. Some may have been smart in some areas of their life, and were just really stupid in others. One was great at marketing. The bigger agency I didn't pull in as much money because the people did not spend enough money on marketing, and were marketing in the wrong spots. Just posting on escort boards isn't enough. I preferred the clients that found me through Eros.
The best advice I can give is ask yourself if this is worth it. Can you find a real career. At some point you lost sensitivity to what you are doing and may make poor decisions for the girls. You also run the risk of the CRA coming after you, and not being able to go back to a normal life. Also agency owners are not often friendly with one another.
All of that said, I wish that there was some real business minded agency owners that ran it like a legitimate business. Not ones that are likely also selling drugs on the side and other illicit activities.
If you do run an agency, be responsible. Show up on time, do not pressure or guilt girls into doing something that they are not comfortable with under the guise that they will make money, and also remember that how you photograph the girls will impact the type of client that they get. I worked for an agency that is a member of this board that would have very explicit photos, and the men I ended up seeing weren't always ideal. The other agency marketed me as more refined, no showing of vaginal parts, etc, and the clients were far more respectful etc.
A girl will stay where she is treated well, has the amount of clients she wants, and most importantly her concerns are taken seriously. I have yelled at an agency owner infront of other girls for not taking my safety seriously. It isn't the agency owner that risks their life every single time they open the door or go to an outcall. It is important to remember that. And please during outcalls, please do a proper check on the person. Get their real name, and call the hotel and ask to be transferred to that person's room.
