I have been having this discussion the last two years.
Contrary to the fans of the European Union, France and Germany are not outperforming the U.K. economically.
All three major European economies have been relatively stagnant the last ten years.
I believe some members pointed to headlines and/or every expert that says Brexit is bad.

Given my skepticism of things political, I personally prefer empirical evidence when it can give us a picture of effects.

Your first point about the economic malaise ending when the Ukraine War is over is very optimistic. The stagnation in Western Europe was firmly evident from 2016-2021(post-Brexit, pre-Ukraine). The empirical data strongly suggests that Western Europe has been on the wrong track since 2010.

If you pull out a crystal ball and start making prognostications about the future anything is possible. Of course, that's not empirical evidence. That's merely speculation grounded in your support for the European Union.

Prior to the Brexit vote, the trickle down from London to Hartlepool was zero. Harold Wilson tried to disperse London's tax revenue to the Shires, Londoners weren't happy about it.

Margaret Thatcher repealed the redistribution scheme, she would fix the problem by deregulating London's Financial Market. It made the problem worse, Boris Johnson promised to fix it but he was too busy partying. The manufacturing base of the UK is so destitute that one of it's most prestigious companies Wedgwood may shut down permanently.
