Nice to hear out so-called Chief of Police waffling in the midst of this.
I belive that at the end of this all, he should either resign as chief or be fired for not doing his job.
I love the fact that he wants to negociate.....with a group brandishing the flags of a recognized terrorist group.

I'm not happy about this either, but this type of talk is completey irresponsible. There are women and children, kids in strollers, down there. What has to be done is to identify and arrest the ringleaders, and make sure they get long sentences to discourage this type of action in the future. Other than getting lots of publicity (all negative now and very little sympathetic), this action makes no sense, and will not stop what's happening in their home country.TeflonJohn said:

While I don't agree that we should lynch any of them, I do strongly believe that the police should move in and arrest them. Then, the deportations should start.
That said, the cops aren't going to move in until they get the go ahead from McGuinty and we've all seen how he handled the situation in Caledonia (wonder where the Tamils got their ideas from?)
There are proper ways to go about things and this is not it. Furthermore, this is not something the Canadian government can or should be doing anything about. Same with the Americans.
This kind of nonsense is not building any sympathy within Canada for their cause.

Well, again, if the cops were to start arresting them, all the children should be taken into Children's Aid and the parents should all be charge with Child Endangerment (which they are doing by having kids up on the Gardiner) and have fun dealing with that on top of being deported.megaplayer said:
