Spa / incalls missing?

I've been to a couple of spas (Brass, Alpha, CMJ), and none of them have a convenient place to put my clothes, so I end up folding them and putting them on a chair. In the winter, we also have to deal with a place for our jacket and mitts/gloves/toques.

So a clothes tree to hang stuff on, some sort of shelf or table to fold/put clothes on, and a warming rack that we can put our gloves/mitts on.
Bang on. Just a couple of hooks on the wall would be good. Just dropping clothing on the floor in a heap might be cool in some circumstances but not always.

I don't go to spa's mainly because of the discretion. I don't like the idea of a bunch of people being around, and everyone knowing exactly what's going on there. I don't like how mysterious the services offered tend to be as well. I like to know what is being offered beforehand and how much it will be with how expensive everything is now. For the most part when I've reached out to inquire beforehand the answer is to just come in and find out. Driving in an hour for unknown services at an unknown amount in an uncomfortable situation/environment like a spa is just not appealing to me, so I stick with independents at private incalls that will discuss their rates and services, or preferably already have them listed somewhere so I don't have to bother them asking.

if you don’t visit spas what’s stopping you?
  • Don't understand the fees structure or what's the fee structures
  • Don't know what's allow and not allow (menu) and don't want to go in there and be in a vulnerable position to dish out more cash
  • With Asian Agency or independent, the place are usually not shown on the google map as Spas
  • Worried I might bump into other Asian that I might know (chances are pretty low but still higher than with the Independent or Asian Agency). It's different than bumping into someone you know at Strip joint
That being said, I think once I get the courage to go to one of them and have a great experience, it would change the above list. For me, I like to just simply know what I am getting into before going in there as I am easily sucker into spending more or say yes to thing when I am put on spot.

I've never done a spa. Just seems very intimidating the first time. Nervous it'll look obvious what I'm doing to passers-by. Or that I won't find it, etc.

A once a month newbie night would be great. I get an appointment and a guarantee no other guy will be there, and get greeted at the door by someone who will go over all the details with me.

I can also imagine a 'bro service', a guy meets you at a nearby put, you have a drink and pretend you're hanging out, and after 10 minutes he says 'hey, mind if we seeing by somewhere so I can pick something up'. Then he guides you there.

Maybe I'm over thinking it.

You are overthinking it, but I get it. Honestly, if you've ever gone into a strip club, and overcome the nervousness about passers-by seeing you do that (particularly on Yonge Street in downtown Toronto, for example), most of the spas should be a snap for you.

Not targeting you - this is for everyone.

I understand that we're all the stars of our own movie, but most people around us are not paying attention to us or what we're doing. And if they are paying attention, so what? You'll probably never meet them, never talk to them - what does their judgment matter? Your life, your choices. And if you're legitimately worried about people who know you seeing you, don't go to spas in the areas where those people would be. If you're worried about bumping into a buddy/co-worker on the inside, well, they're there too aren't they. They probably don't want you outing them any more than you want them outing you - mutually-assured destruction.

Most of the spas in Ottawa are completely low-key. In case you've never been:
* Hush and Alpha's downtown locations are on main streets, but there's absolutely nothing identifying about them from the outside.
* Alpha West is in a commercial plaza but it's pretty specialized and, again, no signage. The guys in the barbershop next door are more likely to give you a head nod than judge you.
* CMJ West and Hush West are in very lightly-travelled commercial/industrial buildings.
* CMJ East is in a huge industrial plaza - pretty low key

The most obvious of the ones that I've seen? The Montreal Road Luxe Downtown East location is incredibly obvious, but you could be going into any of the adult businesses up there and there have been adult businesses there for so long that I doubt anyone notices the comings-and-goings anymore. Plus, it's Vanier for god's sake. Your spa trip is hardly the sketchiest thing happening at any given time. The Vibe Luxe Premium East location has obvious signage but, again, it's in a huge industrial plaza. Hardly a lot of eyes on you. And Paradise and Angel's Touch are both very obviously signed, but who's to say you're not going tanning? And again, neither of them are in busy locations.

Seriously, stand up straight, keep your eyes forward, and just walk on in. You won't regret it.

(edited to avoid confusion on Luxe locations)

I've found incalls to be more intimate overall.
The spa, with maybe a half dozen rooms, many with just tables, feels a bit like an assembly line.

But the biggest that I am no longer interested in spas is the price.
I can find lovely women, independent or otherwise, for much less.
That’s because it is an assembly line. I find spas over all to get what I like to be more expensive then going to see one of the ladies I frequent. I personally prefer going to Incall where I feel a more at home vibe. Spa for me feels clinical.

I think expecting a spa to have a meet and greet just for one is not exactly economical for them. Also personal ‘bro’ tour guide I would expect would be expensive. For you.

1. Discretion is an issue
2. The rooms are freezing in the winter
3. Lack of beds.

I prefer in calls but haven’t had any luck all year finding a lady I mesh with. I do almost exclusively stripper meetups that I’ve built a rapport with. Expensive but the trade off is worth it now.

I’d go back to a spa though. I’m not totally against the idea.

Finding out what each woman is interested in, and at what prices, felt like a part-time job.

Message them on X.com or by cell and then:
  • half of the women won't respond
  • a quarter have their accounts suspended
  • an eighth don't provide the services you're interested in
  • a 16th do provide the services, but at prices that I'm not interested in
  • so maybe there's potential with 1/16th of the women...
And so I meet one of these rare women where we align on services... and sometimes they're pleasant but I find the space to be less erotic than most incalls and with a much higher price, and all the hassle of finding a match.

So I don't really get why people like spas (except for the nearly endless supply of women?)

Thx for posting this @NadiaLovechanko

I do not do this often and usually try to use reputable providers (most instances).

I never have hit up a spa amd the main reason is the appearance that its not as discrete as a in call location.

Great idea Nadia. The comments by some that they are unlikely to visit because spas are less discreet is valid bc it’s personal. That being said, I’ve been to many spas and would like to make a couple of suggestions:

1) Try to look at your spa from the client’s perspective - eg; is it clean, warm, welcoming? If not, fix it. Good suggestions about clients needing a place to hang their clothes!
2) If a client complains, deal with it. There’s an old adage that says “good news travels fast - bad news travels faster “

Let’s all try to enjoy ourselves in 2026 !

I have not visited all of the spas, or even been in all of the rooms at the spas I have visited, but being a larger than average man I appreciate
- large showers
- large towels
- solid massage tables and/or beds
- a chair or similar for comfortable dressing afterwards

There are times when some spas only have one lady working. If you pre-schedule during that time you should be the only guy there.

I will add another vote for clothing management.
And climate control (cozy in the winter, cool in the summer)
A place to put wet towels. "Just throw it on the ground" works, but I always feel bad.
Personally I enjoy a hot tub, but do recognize the maintenance overhead involved.
Ideally not having to stand outside while waiting to get buzzed in. Or quick response to the buzzer if it is hot, cold or raining.
