I've come across many high-end SP's and the screening form is almost the length of my laptop. Gimme a break. What does my work place address, work place phone number, job description and income level have to do with anything. What's next ? Driver's license, passport and urine test. . I"ve stayed at the Trump 50x and I've never had any problems booking an outcall with less private screening questions, but if I'm booking that same outcall SP and I"m staying at a 3.5 star hotel, I'm only about 50% success ratio. What does the hotel rating have to do with anything ? ARGH.

No info.

SPs don't give out any personal info, so why should clients?

Even trying to know what their real first name is (so you don't call her dopey names like Candy and Bambi) is hard enough. Who cares, make something up that sounds normal.

Just stick to the big name agencies. They don't snoop around.

The most I am willing to provide for a first time appointment is my a valid e-mail and a reference from another sp. I am only asked for this about 2% of the time and usually in the US.

I wouldn't provide any personal info. Only TERB handle or a reference. If that's not good enough then I wouldn't book.

I won't even provide my TERB handle. I will provide a reference as I have seen many indys and have email communications on file to prove I have seen them. Agree that if that is not good enough, I will pass.

Each SP in entitled to use any screening process she wants of course, but I don't think she would do too well utilizing these methods. I would never ask for such information, and if I had I certainly would never have met some of the wonderful gents I share great times with as they would never take such a risk. The fact is, I screen just fine without requiring full disclosure of personal info. I have however, known SPs who won't book without this info (specifically copy of driver's license) and I haven't met many SPs. (neither were in the biz long) I agree with a previous poster, that its best to keep things simple. I also think privacy and discretion is equally important for the hobbyist as it is for the SP. I'm not willing to give out such info and show my clients the same respect. Not only is it unnecessary, its dangerous. Its also best to meet on even ground. You checked me out, I checked you out and neither knows specific details that can compromise our privacy, discretion or safety. Again, anyone can do what they want but for myself I feel such things cross the line and set a negative feel to the encounter before it even begins. It sets me above the hobbyist, with all the chips in my hand and no accountability as far as I am concerned. Its unfair. No disrespect to any SPs with these requirements, I just don't feel its right and that concern begins and ends with how I conduct myself, I have no opinion on how any one else screens...unless they specifically ask my advice. Im not here to criticize others. And since this is directed at hobbyists; I know if I were a hobbyist I certainly would not divulge any of that info. Id simply find a reputable SP with other means of screening.
