Each SP in entitled to use any screening process she wants of course, but I don't think she would do too well utilizing these methods. I would never ask for such information, and if I had I certainly would never have met some of the wonderful gents I share great times with as they would never take such a risk. The fact is, I screen just fine without requiring full disclosure of personal info. I have however, known SPs who won't book without this info (specifically copy of driver's license) and I haven't met many SPs. (neither were in the biz long) I agree with a previous poster, that its best to keep things simple. I also think privacy and discretion is equally important for the hobbyist as it is for the SP. I'm not willing to give out such info and show my clients the same respect. Not only is it unnecessary, its dangerous. Its also best to meet on even ground. You checked me out, I checked you out and neither knows specific details that can compromise our privacy, discretion or safety. Again, anyone can do what they want but for myself I feel such things cross the line and set a negative feel to the encounter before it even begins. It sets me above the hobbyist, with all the chips in my hand and no accountability as far as I am concerned. Its unfair. No disrespect to any SPs with these requirements, I just don't feel its right and that concern begins and ends with how I conduct myself, I have no opinion on how any one else screens...unless they specifically ask my advice. Im not here to criticize others. And since this is directed at hobbyists; I know if I were a hobbyist I certainly would not divulge any of that info. Id simply find a reputable SP with other means of screening.
