Is a previously unheard-of First Nation just Canada’s latest Pretendian case?
Local chiefs claim Kawartha Lakes First Nation is part of a wave of cases in which people falsely claim Indigenous identity

Some dude is claiming he's part of an unheard of indigenous group demanding a huge chunk of land from lake Ontario up to Minden and exemption from Canada's laws and taxes while at the same time running a "Redneck Church" and flying confederate flags.
He also claims to have records documenting his ancestors 30,000 year history in the area even though there's no evidence humans were there at the time. Can't wait to see what notarized documents he has from the Kawarthas in the year 28,000 BCE.
