Sort of validates the comment made on Stern recently that any possible movie would have to be a prequel...

Well, I didn't read the spoiler above so I don't know what it said but I kind of snorted when they had Bobby as No.3 in the crew....shows you what kind of intel they were getting lol.

The episode closes at Silvio’s wake. Patsy is there and has told Tony what happened. They are also talking about Bobby. The rest of his crew is there at the service to, trying to get Tony to start a war with Phil and retaliate. Tony just stands there in silence. At the end of the episode, he sees some flowers that were sent with a card on it from the FBI. Tony looks thoughtfully at the card as the scene fades out, and we’re left to wonder if that’s the only place left for Tony to turn.
This part didn't happen.

Episode ended with Tony in hiding, trying to sleep, with the M-16 Bobby gave him on vacation next to him.

actually quite a few things in the spoiler didn't happen .... but there was a few truths in there.

My SO is convinced Tony is going down , I'm not so sure ....... will be interesting for sure.

Must say that I sat there kinda depressed afterwards, knowing next week is it. Maybe that depression stuff rubs off on ya ............ :(

I've also heard rumor of Tony reaching out to one of the other families to have Phil taken care of and none other than Joe Pesci plays the head of that family.
I'm personally looking for some kind of Goodfellas connection in the final episode. Like I said earlier, maybe Tony goes into witness relocation ala Henry Hill?
I do have to say though that there were more than a few truths in the spoiler I posted.

Funny thing, I just checked the HBO website and saw that the series finale is only the normal 61 mins. long....You'd think they'd have an extended version or something....makes you think that just cause it's over, doesn't mean it's over....I bet dollars to donuts they don't conclude anything....

I think about that a lot, and you are right, some stuff gets resolved and the main stuff has to stay open in case there is the movie within a few years.

Hey, at least we have lost for 3 more years !!!

Time to show our respect to Bobby "Bacala" Baccalieri with a few of his famous lines:

Junior - How many White Castle did you have!?
Bacala - None, I swear.
Junior - Bullshit, I can smell it.

Rapper - You think this'll give me steet cred?
Bacala - Not to worry, I'm an expert marksman, I'll shoot you in the fleshy part of the thigh.

The writers have a lot to wrap up in 60 minutes. Should be an awesome hour of viewing.

I think it will be an awesome hour....but I also think they will purposely leave a bunch of stuff hanging so they have the table set for movie(s) going forward.

Meadow as a criminal lawyer has a nice fit, no?

Watch out for "The Sopranos" movie within a couple of years. It would cost very little to make compared to others films (I still cannot believe $500,000,000 to make Spidey 3?) and rake in huge $$$ at the box office. I'd go see it for sure.

P.S. In the last episode I hope AJ gets arrested, throw in jail, and ass raped many times. Has he turned into a little whining, crying, wimp, piece of shit, or what?

Could be awesome or complete b.s. it could go either way. Many are hoping for some resolution or conclusion but I doubt they'll be able to do any real resolving in 61 mins.... I see a big let down coming but it could be like the final episode of friends. They did a good job on that but the last line of the series blew dead donkeys....

I love this guy's writing on the Soprano's

here's the link

http://blog.nj.com/alltv/2007/06/sopranos_rewind_the_blue_comet.html#comments

so....looks like ripped hymen's spoiler was about 50% right....Bobby's wacked in the model train store, and Sil get's hit outside the Bing.

I think Dr Melfi (man, she's packed on the beef over the series tenure) has finally come to grips with the fact she was really grooving on being so close to violence and notorious sociopath, and the way she spurns Tony was chilling. She's lucky he didn't become physically violent with her. Only being a "civillian" saved her.

Unless Tony finds Phil first (and I'm going out on a limb here), he's dog meat in the final episode, ala James Cagney..."top of the world Ma, top of the world....!!!!"

On the Television Without Pity website, it was menitoned that a editorial decision had been made to move the last scene from "Blue Comet" to the first scene in "Made in America." That could be the wake scene, although wouldn't that be a prime Tony hit locale?

With all the violence that happened during the Blue Comet, Dr Melfi's rejection was the highlight of the episode. This is were I disagree with the linked editorial; a psychiatrist's greatest challenge is to redeem a hardened criminal from a life of violence. During her sessions with Tony, Dr Melfi always made the suggestion that he should "just walk away'. Since he didn't have a similar challenge, Dr Kupferberg envied her status and wanted her to fail. He didn't know that by having Adrianna La Cerva killed, Tony Soprano had reached a point of no return, redemption is beyond him. With Dr Melfi's rejection, Tony has been condemned to his fate.

This was Lorraine Bracco's finest moment, never before this episode has she appeared so utterly ruthless. She may not be as sexy as she once was but her talent is as powerful as ever!

Possible spoiler....

Napoli must have made a killing from the Soprano's imported car business. Now that Tony is at war with the Lupertazzi family, Napoli has to protect their interests. With if the Napolitans had sent three hit-men and only two went home.
