Obviously guilty, thats why he hasnt been around lately.
The banning was intentional, and just a ruse

Damm that sucks.

Got pictures of your bikes? Ray might have been involved!
in the mean time ask your neighbours if they saw anything.
Actually I have pictures, serial #'s and even the receipts... Filing a claim should be simply a matter of formality. But it is still a pain in the other end which I would rather NOT have to go through... as the french say- c'est la vie.

Cycleguy,
Be careful. I have heard that once they know you have nice stuff and have stolen from you once they will be back!!! I would recommend some serious security system as well.(think louisville slugger or shotgun).lol

I hate thieves and people that dont earn for themselves!!

Probably a group of kids. Quick snatch and grab.

I'd report it to the police. Probably won't get your bikes back but your report will be combined with others and once in a while it pays off.

I use a key pad on my garage door.

Good luck with the insurance...
Thanks toughb...

That's what I was thinking as well... I contacted the police immediately, they are coming this evening to file an official report. I realize I will likely never see them again, but the police report will be necessary for the insurance claim.

I actually have a key pad on my garage door as well, but teenagers being as they are just are too lazy to press the F***ing buttons...

CycleGuy,
I have a wireless thingy attached to the garage door opener that I check every night when I make sure the doors are locked. If the light is green, door is closed. If the light is red, door is open. It has saved my ass a few times I am sure.

Thanks tboy... last claim I had on my house insurance was WAY back in 1995 or 96 when my golf clubs were stolen from my garage while I was mowing the back yard! (I swear it was the paperboy!)
What kind of neighborhood do you live in?

I actually have a security system, but it doesn't work if the garage door is open, which it was. (Left open by ONE of my teenaged kids...)

Long ago when I was 12 my bike was stolen out of my parent's garage in Toronto when the garage door was left up (by me heh heh:eek:) one evening. I had to wait till my next birthday to get another one (7 months). My sympathies to you.

Since they only took two bikes, chances are good it was neighbourhood kids, might try posting reward posters around the neighbourhood and schools.
