Remember that guy Benjamin Tomlin who got sentenced to 10 years in Cuba prison? The PM will definitely bail you out when he hears the term "underage girls".

Did a few trips alone and was suggested to do club med. Which turned great. Club Med is focused around activities and sports and encourages dinner table mix up. Try the Turk and Caikos beach is top!
First trip I end up spending each night with a shy brazilian girl working the front desk

I have been to both places solo. Varadero would be a much better bet to find some female companionship, since you can take a hop-on hop-off bus to the town of Varadero from any resort. Cayo Santa Maria is isolated from any nearby towns. Varadero is also a short ride from the larger city of Matanzas, where there are many working girls. A local cab driver can hook you up.
I made the mistake of going there for two weeks solo. Luckily I got "adopted" by a young English couple. brother and sister who made one week enjoyable and sociable.
I didn't like Cuba really. The people coming back on the plane two weeks later were the same bunch I went down with but we all went our separate ways. Most of them made eye contact with me and muttered "never again" . I nodded knowingly in response.
Something about the place was boring and depressing. Sort of crumbling third world melancholy in the air. One thing that started to get to me was the throngs of large black guys lurking in the side streets under the trees in groups at night. Varadero is meant to be a crime free tourist haven but walking back to the hotel around 2 in the morning felt like running a gauntlet. Guys looking like linebackers jogging up to you asking "where you from man?" "Give me some money"
Didn't get laid there either. The reports of pussy dripping from the branches must have been from a time prior to my visit.

I was in Havanna for 5 nights and could not find any girl action anywhere. Had a few guys try and hustle me - running up to me as soon as I left my hotel looking for money and using any excuse possible to hang out with me. I told them to bugger off . Had to do it loudly so the cops nearby could hear . Maybe others know the island better than me but you can find lots of girls in the Dominican Republic - especially Sosua and or Jaco Beach in Costa Rica. I stayed at the Hotel Cocal in Jaco where girls would come by the dozens if not hundreds at the pool side bar. Girls everywhere in Jaco Beach.
I been to Cuba 3 times. Varadero in 90's I hear it change now. And Holgin twice. Holgin more spiritual awakening, not pooning.
I guess the hustle is worse now in Cuba, my parents were there this past October Santa Maria isolated place. There was hustle.
I speak Spanish fluently and had a hard time picking up. Of course I knew their game and it didn't go well with them.

jesus many years ago I was hanging with a guy like that in Havana for a week just buying drinks and food for him and paying him very little and he found me all kinds of girls. He would run up to civvy girls on the street that I liked and talk them into doing it for like $40-50.
I am told it's still the same.

Cancun is a bit trash but Riviera Maya is amazing. But I never hobby there and never will.
My new destination of choice is now Ol Box east of Cancun as so far the seaweeds have never reach that area.

It's an island where there is no cars. Beaches are amazing. A bit far out but so much worth it.
If on a tight schedule go for Isla Mujeres just in front on Cancun.

Very narrow streets. Very small place.
Yes we got a transport from Cancun to Chiquita (about 2h). Then a ferry which runs all day until 9pm or so. For those with money now I do think there is a small airfield and possibility to fly from Cancun.
Holbox beaches are out of this world. But yet do not expect pristine solitude and quiet spaces... haha there is a lot of activity with so many carts and motor cycles. Yet such a good vibes. And many european tourist.
