studies report that 1 in 12 people have had their homes broken into and their buttholes fingered without their knowledge. Now for a small fee the city is providing a clinic where a doctor will stick his finger up your ass to determine whether or not youve been the victim of rogue fingerings in the past. Why live with the uncertainty of whether or not you got fingered?

My heart attack was later re-diagnosed as a hyper-tension attack.
Two blood pressure meds have kept me at 120/80 for 4 years now.

Question 1: How high was your BP before going on the med? (A couple of my work colleagues had high BP and one indicator were their rosy cheeks.)

Question 2: Did your high BP damaged your kidneys/veins/heart?

Before the hyper-tension attack it was like 145/95
In the hospital it hit 240/115.

145/95 is high but not overly high.

In the hospital it hit 240/115.
This is dangerously high. No wonder it was an emergency.

Re: Q2 so far, so good. All appears to be in order.
Glad to hear that. A close relative had high BP for years and it damaged her kidneys and veins. However, the doctors also think her high BP could have been caused by the kidneys.

What are the meds you are taking? Glad to hear that your BP is now normal.

This was an interesting (and civil) discussion.

In light of what happened very recently to a football player, I'm thinking of expanding this thread (or start a new thread) to include cardiac arrest (CA) as a heart attack can very often but not always lead to CA.

"Sudden cardiac arrest can occur after a heart attack, or during recovery. Heart attacks increase the risk for sudden cardiac arrest. Many heart attacks don't immediately lead to sudden cardiac arrest, but when sudden cardiac arrest occurs, heart attack is a common cause."

Don't you just hate it when you suffer a heart attack and/or CA while you are engaging in coitus? It kind of spoils the mood.

"A serious heart problem can be made even worse if it happens while you’re getting busy: Cardiac arrests that occur during sex are more deadly than those that occur during other kinds of physical activity, new research presented at the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress 2017 found. Sudden cardiac arrest is different from a heart attack."

The C-reactive Protein test is a relatively good indicator of previous and possible future cardiovascular disease. An annual physical should include thisand other blood tests for those at possible risk

"An hs-CRP test isn't for everyone. The test doesn't show the cause of inflammation. So it's possible to have a high hs-CRP level without it affecting the heart.

An hs-CRP test may be most useful for people who have a 10% to 20% chance of having a heart attack within the next 10 years. This is known as intermediate risk. A health care provider can determine your risk using tests that look at your lifestyle choices, family history and overall health."

I did have a “mild” heart attack, none are actually mild! Felt like a twinge in my chest and ache in my left arm, lasted a few seconds. Was going to wave it off but was at an event and went to on site medics to get checked out and was sent to hospital right away! Ended up with 3 partially blocked arteries. 3 stents later out the door good to go!
Did you get back to the event before it ended? ;)

What is a way to get tested to see if your arteries are getting clogged? What about those calcium scans?

There's another test they can do.
1) A young cute female nurse shaves your privates.
2) Then a doctor inserts a wire up through your groin.
3) If it is a small enough blockage they can remove it immediately.
