I'm really curious what they did to get fired though.
Something major must have happened

Networks don’t fire people in such positions blindly unless there was something unethical going on that could damage the company. I think the ratings must have tanked and found the hosts were not good so they decided to re brand and get new hosts. Get a fresh start for the new year.
