I used to start my day watching Dina Pugliese...she was the sole reason I spent a lot of $$$ on SPs and MPs back in the day...
Didn’t care for her, Sid was funny, always liked his self deprecating humour.

Sid is a self-aggrandizing, loud mouthed blowhard. I'm surprised that a)he got the gig in the 1st place and b)that he lasted that long.

I was thinking I hope they do bring him back with Tim, loved Tim & Sid - thought it was great - way better than what is on now, The Real Kyper and Bourne aaaargh....even that other show with that tool Oneill on Overdrive.I hope Sid's next job is at some AM radio station that nobody listens to, so we never have to hear from him again
At first I was gearing up to defend myself, but then I saw who levelled the criticism. But now I see there is no need.
Nobody in this thread had anything good say about Sid.
In a way, for a chance to hear Tim again, I'd like to see it return. But I think it would re-elevate Sid, which I don't want to see.
I agree that the other shows are shit.
What nobody wants to admit is that being over 45 and on TV isn't cool anymore. Who was the ctv lady that got axed a few years ago? Also, we live in a politically correct world but the lady is quite overweight, don't think those things didn't play a part. Everyone, I mean liberals, like to say being fat is ok and to love yourself, simply not true in the visual world we live in. It's no coincidence that the lady who left a few years ago was very attractive and left on her own. Doubt she'd have ever been fired.

I think also part of the reason was they were getting shitty TV ratings.
Whenever a TV show gets good ratings the networks tend to keep them on.
But if you're not getting good ratings, then you're out the door pretty quick

They might as well overhaul the entire cast, Frankie Flowers has been there for 20 years, Devo needs to go too, never liked him for some reason.
