I just can't get my head around this one. I really can't.
I have had 2 sp's now tell me during my session with them, that they have had clients bring a review that was done of them during a session. Now, I find this kind of odd. Why would you show an sp a review that you did of her.
Here's the kicker. The review wasn't even theirs. It was mine. They brought the review of my session with that same sp and showed it to them.
Why? Why? Why?
Why would you do that? Why would you want to talk about how someone else's session was with that sp? Has anyone else had this happen to them? Am I the only one who thinks this is kinda strange?
I just don't get it. I'm not ashamed of my reviews. I write them as tastefully as I think possible and try to keep it on a creative side. Leaving things to the imagination of how things were. They are a reflection IMO of our time together. So I have nothing to hide with them.
But, I just don't understand why a client would take a review to an sp at all, let alone one that they didn't do? Are you trying to get what I got in terms of service? Using it as leverage - well, you gave it to him, I want that too? Are you trying to show the sp what is being said about them to shock them, or to try and have them have second thoughts about seeing me again?
Both of these sp's didn't know who I was until the reviews were brought to their attention. They didn't even know boards existed until then. One sp even had the review with her when I saw her. I'm not sure if other reviews were brought to them because I didn't ask. I was too shocked about it happening in the first place.
Fortunately neither of the 2 girls were offended by what was written. They were very complimentary to me.
I just found it odd that this would be done. And it has me questioning the sanity of some people. I'm not sure if I appreciate being "outed" like that either. Whether it was intentional or not.
Hey, if the girl finds the review on the board, reads it, and figures thing out, that's fine. But, to bring it to her attention, and show it to her during a session?...............
I would like to hear some opinions on this one but, for now, I'm walking away on this one just shaking my head wondering "What are you thinking?"
