Showing an sp a review about them. What purpose does it serve???

I just can't get my head around this one. I really can't.

I have had 2 sp's now tell me during my session with them, that they have had clients bring a review that was done of them during a session. Now, I find this kind of odd. Why would you show an sp a review that you did of her.

Here's the kicker. The review wasn't even theirs. It was mine. They brought the review of my session with that same sp and showed it to them.

Why? Why? Why?

Why would you do that? Why would you want to talk about how someone else's session was with that sp? Has anyone else had this happen to them? Am I the only one who thinks this is kinda strange?

I just don't get it. I'm not ashamed of my reviews. I write them as tastefully as I think possible and try to keep it on a creative side. Leaving things to the imagination of how things were. They are a reflection IMO of our time together. So I have nothing to hide with them.

But, I just don't understand why a client would take a review to an sp at all, let alone one that they didn't do? Are you trying to get what I got in terms of service? Using it as leverage - well, you gave it to him, I want that too? Are you trying to show the sp what is being said about them to shock them, or to try and have them have second thoughts about seeing me again?

Both of these sp's didn't know who I was until the reviews were brought to their attention. They didn't even know boards existed until then. One sp even had the review with her when I saw her. I'm not sure if other reviews were brought to them because I didn't ask. I was too shocked about it happening in the first place.

Fortunately neither of the 2 girls were offended by what was written. They were very complimentary to me.

I just found it odd that this would be done. And it has me questioning the sanity of some people. I'm not sure if I appreciate being "outed" like that either. Whether it was intentional or not.

Hey, if the girl finds the review on the board, reads it, and figures thing out, that's fine. But, to bring it to her attention, and show it to her during a session?...............

I would like to hear some opinions on this one but, for now, I'm walking away on this one just shaking my head wondering "What are you thinking?"

Could this be the start of a wooly110 fan club??

Were they mute? Perhaps this was their way of telling the ladies"I want some of this, please" :) You know, like when a woman takes a cloth patch into a store to get the right paint color?

I would guess...

it's a pathetic attempt to gain favour with the SP in order to increase mileage. Sort of a "I'm going to tell you what others are saying about you so you should do me a favour" thing.

They couldn't give a rat's @$$ about you and your 'relationship' with the SP, they are simply looking to maximize theirs.

So that's how homonger has been getting such good mileage.

That is a weird thing to for a client to do. It is also spooky that it's happened not once but twice with your reviews and that you found out about it. Not quite sure what to make of it.

I will be honest and say that I've shown my reviews to the lady in question prior to posting it. This is to insure that I don't offend her by writing anything too intimate. To this point I haven't had any changes (compliments to my writing style I guess hehe).

Taking someone else's review to an sp is uncalled for. There may be other reasons (maybe the client didn't speak the very good engrish?) and needed some help. I bet there are a few guys out there who would "hold a review" over the sp's head trying for a high mileage encounter. Anyone that would do this is scum (IMHO).

It would be interesting to know who the client was or at least his terb handle........

My thought exactly, I think it is someone trying to increase there mileage by showing your review. Ummm maybe he does not get good mileage usually so he fiquered tht this might help.
Wooly you are becoming a legend. LOL

Leaches and Rats. Living off the hard earned money of others. We spend a lot on this hobby and don't need A@@holes like these guys ruining it.

This is like the incident with Sheik several months ago - another ***** trying to get better service by trying to pretend to be someone they are not. And, people wonder why other hobbyists stop writing reviews and keeping hidden gems hidden.

One possibility is that he was trying to improve his "mileage" but there is another possibility. It could be he just thought he was doing her a favour by showing her what was being said about her and expected nothing in return.

In the past I did this once for a girl I was seeing on a regular basis. I knew she wasn't a member of any of the boards so one time when I was going to see her I printed off some of the comments about her.

Since the reviews were more negative than my experience with her and since I was more than happy with my encounters I did not expect anything in return other than a thank you.

Now I don't know the SP in question or the circumstances of this particular incident, I'm just offering another perspective. Take from it what you will.

I'm not going to say who the sp's are. Doesn't really matter. Like I said, they were cool about it.

I'm trying to give the benefit of the doubt here and hope that it wasn't done in such a way to hopefully get the same kind of service or anything like that.

I've been wondering too if it was the same person, but, I'm not sure.

Sheik, I agree. Like I said, I have no problem if the sp sees it for herself. It's not that it's just not cool to bring a review to an sp's attention (a positive one that is) but, it's just really strange to me that you would.

Shack - Homonger using my reviews for mileage?! HA! I think I have a thing or 2 to learn from him.
