Saddam was subsidized and armed by people from Western governments and people who qualify for Israeli citizenship and did everything he did with their support, including the invasions of Iran and Kuwait. Haven't you seen pics of Rumsfeld, Reagan, Thatcher and Saddam together BEFORE the Iraq/Iran war? They were best buddies. Saddam never made chemical weapons, he PURCHASED them from Western corporations. They created Saddam and American officials from the time have admitted it. In Europe this is common knowledge, as it came out in a big scandal in the German parliament. But North Americans don't tend to know much of anything geopolitical. Read some history. I didn't insult you with curses. I was just stating an opinion (shared by many within Israel, may I add). If you want to degenerate the debate into a world of infantile regression and insult-hurling I will not partake.

If your intent is to say that Western Governments funded and supported Saddam, fine. Why do you need to include that Jews (or "people who qualify for Israeli citizenship" as you prefer to put it) armed and subsidized him? Do you have information that Jews as a group gathered funds or even individual Jews donated their personal money (Strange, I have never heard anyone claiming a Jewish conspiracy)? If you are talking about the American government and industry, which happens to include some Jewish people, then all you need to say is American/Western government and industry.

Unless you intend to show bias, you might want to remove that part from your post. If that is your intent, don't B.S. us with your claims of neutrality.

I agree with all you say on this Sergei, but I have real trouble with the Israel involvment bit. It would be suicide for Saddam to have had anything to do with Israel. He was opposed to its very existance. I have heard other claim this but so far found not proof what so ever. I would say that is a great post except for that. It really would be a stupid thing for Israel to have done. If they liked Saddam in anyway the best thing they could do would tell the Arab world they hated him.

I am sure there were Jewish shareholders, Canadian, Blacks, Women. I have been on a couple of board of directors of the years. Shareholders are alot of people of many different types. Few really care what is going on except the bottom line. Many shares are held by other companies, and things Retirement funds. Maybe we could blame old people? I personally don't think you are being prejudice, but the moment you put our any sort of manority group you will be called on it, and an otherwise good post will not get the notice it deserves due to people hitting you on this issue and ingnoring the rest.
