READ THE OP’S QUESTION!
Thanks for proving (once again) you have zero reading comprehension or are a very ignorant human being, or most likely, BOTH.You are parroting the same old allegation in your multiple posts, especially as you cannot comprehend the premise of all our posts!!
Meaning, that it is obvious to the vast majority of Canadians that we just do not want a stupid referendum based on a Convicted Felon's demented impulse pulled out of his derriere!!
I would say no, unless polls showed a higher interest in the question than the on average, 10% who said yes they would entertain the notion of becoming the 51st state."No two nations in the world are as integrated, economically and socially, as are the United States and Canada.
We share geography, values and the largest unprotected border in the world.
Regardless of this close friendship, our two countries are on a slow-motion collision course—with each other and with the rest of the world.
While we wrestle with internal political gridlock and fiscal challenges and clash over border problems, the economies of the larger world change and flourish."
we would have cheaper internet and cell phones and American Netflix
it's a win win
Let the people decide !
Yeah, we could call it the North Amarican Free Trade Act or NAFTA for short.Yes, where countries still had their sovereignty.
Phil proposed a similar North American union where Canada, Mexico and the US form a similar union.
That is worth considering.
Freedom of movement, jobs, ease of doing business etc.,
Not sure if that allows the same kind of freedom of movement as the EU.Yeah, we could call it the North Amarican Free Trade Act or NAFTA for short.
He is correct with that number from the Leger poll, just should have said "Of people who support the CPC 21% were in favor.I think it was more like 13%. 87% voted 'No'.
How so?Not sure if that allows the same kind of freedom of movement as the EU.
All you are good at is being a delusional poster on this Board. All abuses and zero substances!!Thanks for proving (once again) you have zero reading comprehension or are a very ignorant human being, or most likely, BOTH.
Yet it's MAGA Simpleton cult followers who want this referendum when they don't respect the democracy in the US when Trump lost to Biden.Should Canada have a Referendum on becoming part of USA?
In a democratic country like Canada, absolutely YES!
those 10% are displaced Americans, they miss there gunsI would say no, unless polls showed a higher interest in the question than the on average, 10% who said yes they would entertain the notion of becoming the 51st state.
Referendums cost on average about 300 million dollars, a large waste of money at this point with no chance of it happening.
I have not seen a poll yet where, as some say, over 50% want to become the 51st state.
