Thank you Von for introducing this incredible soul to my life. I watched a dozen of her videos and I think she is 10x more beautiful inside than outside. The joy and comfort she brings to her viewers is heartwarming. And her varied and broad talent is incredible. She is worthy of much broader support, views, subscribers and recognition than her her youtube numbers.

After the Ottoman Turks took Dubrovnik, they were poised to take Venice as well. The Venetians sent emissaries to the Safavid (Persian) Empire to enter into an alliance. The Persians invaded into Asia Minor taking the pressure off Venice. The Ottomans withdrew their fleet from the Adriatic. The Safavids fought three wars against the Ottomans, eventually bringing the Safavid dynasty to an end but the Turks never managed to conquer the Persians. They shot their wad in Iran.
