One of my buddies is over right now and he knows i'm writing this thread

He is just devastated that his wife left him for another woman

It all started when he asked her if she would do a threesome

At first she said she wasn't interested and that woman don't turn her on

This went on for a few days ,and then she didn't come home at all

She called him up and said she's living with the other woman now

So now he feels like its all his fault ,thinking if he didn't have a threesome

He would still have his wife

He is seriously a mess right now ,he won't stop blaming himself

Does he know who the other women is? Seems a little strange that his wife would not be into women if she went to this extreme one week after the threesome. I believe she may have had been with or into women at point (ie University) before he met her. For her to move in with another women so fast suggests something may have been going on for sometime. This is more common then you think as I know a couple of people it has happened to.

For the wife to all of a sudden live with this other women the only thing I can think of was that the wife was secretly seeing this women without your friend knowing, for her to trust her enough to move in with her and leave her marriage. Husbands do this to their wives on a regular basis but from what I read women that cheat on their husbands are even better at hiding it.

Find a good therapist for him. Seriously... go online and look for a therapist, analyst or psychologist that can help him with his feelings of guilt, shame, loss and grief.

Don't try to give him direct advice, or directly tell him not to blame himself (even though he is not to blame) - let the search process for someone to help him give him hope.

Tell him that you can't lose something you never had. Whatever he thought he had with his wife, its pretty clear it wasn't there. If she cared about him, or their marriage, she would never have left him in that manner. At the very least, have the common decency to talk to him about it face to face.

This type of situation is not new. I've seen it before.

Women sometimes find they get more love, passion and caring from another women. Basically women understand women. After a break up they find compassion and empathy in the arms of another women.
