Trump said we are close to a deal.Trump seems to want a trade deal before the midterms, hopes that will help with the votes in the border states.. might be the best deal we get because he wants the win or do we say "fuck you, no deal" and hold out till he is replaced...

Does he want a trade deal or does he want the appearance of being on the verge of winning a trade war?

I highly doubt it. In fact Mexico talks have stalled because of tariffs there. He is already under pressure from states, so keep it on, let the next set of court rulings come in, and watch Congress go after him
 
He should have given Americans that $5K before the mid-terms than making them wait. Oh wait he's been elected twice and wouldn't shock me if he got in a 3rd time if he could run again.

This is the same America that might have seen someone like Nicki Minaj as press secretary. America has gone to the shits since Bill Clinton left the office.

The court rulings don't reverse the steel, auto and other tariffs along those lines, since those have been determined to be national security issues. Substantial damage is being done in those sectors.

Okay, say we get the "best deal" it's going to last about 12 days before he decides to bring up the imaginary dairy tariffs again and cancel the deal all together
