Eriksen undeniably has qualities, even if he does not fit into the Inter squad. I hope he gets to play regularly somewhere. It is a shame to have him sitting on the bench.

Lukaku must be fluent in Italian, The Great Zlatanissimo called him an assenino. Lukaku responded with "fancula a te e tua moglie".
Maybe Barella's game is why Eriksen can't fit in. Conte wanted him to link up with Barella the same way Pirlo and Kaka used to do. But Barella likes to take on defenders himself, he's a feisty Sardi.
Couldn't watch the match, TLN doesn't carry Coppa Italia.

Barella is exceptional. I would have thought he and Eriksen could have complemented each other, Barella being feisty and all over the pitch, while Eriksen is cool and can send some amazing passes to Lukaku et al.

Conte and Inter truly has screwed up Eriksen's career. Now Conte says he will not trade Eriksen.
Understandably, no other club wants to pay that much for a player that has not played for a year.
Inter pays Eriksen about $500,000 a week net after tax for not playing. They deserve to go bankrupt.
I do not pity Eriksen, $500,000 a week for being a tourist in Italy. His contract runs through 2024. I would take that job.
And he gets good seats for all Inter's games.
Conte needs a dead ball specialist, he wont let Eriksen go. At the same time the Dane and Barella need time to figure out their game plan, but Conte has left it late. It shouldn't be a problem since the two get along well off the pitch.
Conte prefers Vidal and Brozović, who both behave like Italians, animated and showing temper. Eriksen behaves like a Scandinavian, cool and collected under pressure. Look at Simon Kjaer.
