I'm Canadian so it doesn't really affect me but from a bystanders point of view ,in just about any instance if a girl fucks me over for eight years.....and then the new girl and I are in a two year relationship that I don't think is going well.......the last thing on my mind is going back for more of the same.That goes the same for a job etc etc.

If Americans vote for a 2000-2008 mentality they kinda deserve what they have coming to them.a lame duck president...and if history is any indication....another armed conflict.I personally think with the supreme court overturning regulations concerning donations to elections being anonymous there is a very good chance the U.S.A and it's future will be at the mercy of the highest bidder and that's never good for citizenry.

Well, I suppose all kinds of people will be unhappy with choices made before too long. Take the case of Sharron Angle, running for US Senate in Nevada. Recently she visited a local high school and spoke to Hispanic students in an event organized by their student union. Seems they were concerned about her strong anti-immigrant ads and her portrayl of Latinos. She said she wasn't sure if any of those in the ad were Latinos, despite there being a Mexican flag in the background of the ad, and suggested that she was referring to our Northern border. It got worse when she gazed out over her Hispanic audience and said, "You know, I don't know that all of you are Latino, some of you look a little more Asian". When that was met by more than a bit of shock, this quite White candidate than said that she had been called, "the first Asian legislator in Nevada".

But I'm sure she'll do a fine job.

Spot on analysis and funny, too. People know that Democratic policies are a disaster and they have to go. They are sceptical, of all politicians, and will be watching the new Repub's closely. If the Repub's disappoint, they will be booted. The Dem's will not be able to capitalize because American's are rejecting the European socialist model. If Greece, France, Great Britian, Spain, and Portugal are indicators, European socialism will have to change soon.
