It is a practice that does a few things...
1) Perpetuates a stereotype
2) Reduces a person to essentially a performing circus animal
3) Emasculates another person (though on occassion by choice).
It essentially says "This is all you / your kind are good for. You are sexually charged animals...barely human. I cannot compete with you in this arena, but this only confirms my superiority in other areas.
