the fact that there are sex-specific genes in other parts of the body beyond the reproduction system, like in organs like the skin, does argue against the assertion that trans women and actual women are no different, which is an argument commonly made by trans activists.
I've never heard people argue that trans-women and genetic women were biologically the same because everyone knows the basics of XX vs XY. The arguments I have heard are about legal rights being the same.

Go to live Venezuela or Eritrea, maybe Togo. Start to work in Cuba 70 hours/week, for 15 CAD and trust me : your transgender problem is become an insignificant problem in your life. You won't care anymore. This transgender problem has exist, because you live in an amazing country and you don't have to fight for surviving every day. Other words: I agree there are a few REAL tg people , but most of them just a boring idiot. They have too much time, internet access and money to thinking about themselves. Their life is too easy and too good. LGBTQRTSFHDJQ2 or what the fuck is the name of the community( sorry but I can't follow anymore), are formed in western countries usually. A 3 months Siberian Tour in wintertime or 3 months asphalt jobs in summertime in Cuba, will resolve "Maybe I am a transgender" problem.
Ever heard of Thailand? LOL

I don’t understand the obsession with gender. The fact that we impart such prevalent characteristics to gender is the reason some people, not feeling comfortable with those, feel the need to switch teams.

Other than athletics, is there really any need to identify gender for people?

That said, thought it was hilarious that some dude switched his gender to save on auto insurance. How has there not been a Geico rip on that.

Why the exception for athletics, especially in the years when bodies are still growing? Wouldn't it make more sense to organize competition by some universal equalizing standard like BMI?

Digital devices are already making it practical to tailor car insurance to individual driving behaviour, so that guy's gender-based advantage will disappear soon enough.

wrong.... why would a parent create a difficult situation on purpose? It just happens... nature is complex with many variations
Respectfully wigglee some parents do not put the concern for the child first and are more interested in themselves. Some parents are brainwashed themselves by radical Trans Activists and their acolytes and our institutions (School Boards etc) are legally bound by virtue of the ONHRC/HRT to affirm.

There is a very real and toxic element to this issue raging between Trans Activists, like Morgane (Ronan) Oger VP of the BCNDP and opponents both feminist and otherwise as to the nature of and surrounding Trans issues in NA. One evidenced last week where a Trans woman was placed in the room of a woman ata sexual abuse shelter. The woman called ONHRC for guidance and they told her they couldn't help her because she was the one who was violating the HRC. She had to file a complaint with the HRC first to get the shelter to accomodate the Trans woman and her requests to have him moved out of her room. The feminst angle has come to the point now where the term TERF (Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminsts) has been levied at any woman who defends their right to keep trans woman out of female spaces.

Lesbians who support this idea are alsop labelled and attacked byu TA's and some have been assaulted for their views. Many Lesbians want their affiliation with LGBTQ communitiy removed. They do not want to be associated with them because of the hostility from the trans community.

And referring again to Oger, he has launched lawsuits against anyone who does not use his preferred pronouns and actively searches out offenders to trans ideology for reporting to the BCHRC. This includes parents and school officials (see Barry Neufeld) who will not support and affirm children in transitioning.

Add to this the phenomena of ROGD (Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria). A relatively new occurance among mostly teen girls, possibly linked to social contagion, as the parents of the these kids not that they get the notion of being trans from the internet, chat rooms etc, and there are districts where there has been a spike as high as 18% of a school population coming out as trans.

A couple in Ontario have had their kid removed from the home because they did not affirm the kids choice due to the provisions of Bills 77, 89 and the policies of school boards to keep parents uninformed about what is going on with their kids at school based on the kids right to privacy. School Boards are actively pushing the trans movement, with kids as young as 5 being introduced to gender fluidity ideology and the 'normality' of being trans by using the "I am Jazz' teaching materials.

For an interesting trip into the rabbit hold I would suggest that you go to the Morgane Oger Twitter account. Remember, this person is the VP of the BC NDP! What is happening out there is happening in Ontario. If you are a parent you must understand exactly what is going on in your kids school. The Sex Ed debate is about this. These things are being introduced to 5 year olds.

If anyone is interested this can be instructive.

Here is Oren's channel, there are other vids trans related there as well, re Trans activists agenda etc.

If you're not a member of the BCNDP why are you bothering about this person? If you are, why are you posting in TO? Assuming they're a problem at all, why make it yours?

You own source presents no evidence but the headline stating the unfounded and stupid idea that the study "…destroys transgender". The study's authors said no such thing.
The author Pete Baklinski has a long history of seeking out similar articles and twisting the headline to support his biased views. <-- But Pete doesn't claim he's a reporter, he's a commentator, so normally I wouldn't have a problem with this. But Baklinski often doesn't support his opinions by including additional commentary and facts, he often justs twists the headlines to mislead the reader. Which really stinks IMHO.

Contrary to Dawn Lee's comment, most the the transgender arguments I've listened to and read about are more about the mind/spirit and not rooted in physical characteristics. People are certainly allowed their opinions on this topic, but how can 80% of us claim any understanding of it? Thus rendering our opinions uninformed/meaningless.

Your tyrade posts always make me laugh. Obviously you have too much time on your hands!

Just curious, have you done any of those jobs? Might give you less time to hate libtards and LGBTQRTSFHDJQ2s

The only reason there is woman’s sports is that women can’t compete with Men. No woman has ever made the cut in a PGA tourney, just one example. I have no problem if we don’t have gender in sports, women would have issues as none of them would make the teams. As for size, BMI.... who wants to see a short guys version of the NBA - answer, no one.

Golf is a perfect example of how silly the gender distinction is, and mixed tournament golf has been played since forever. BMI was just a off the cuff example. Pick any gender-neutral characteristic you want, like handicap or average performance score to date. It may well be that at the tippy-top of athleticism no women could match the men, buyuy if they're barred from competing, no one can know, can they?

Come on jonesy. While you may be old I had thought dementia had not set in yet.
You can''t answer because I'm demented? C'mon, it can't be that hard for a clever sproglet like yourself.

I don't hate you. I pity you! Hate is your thing not mine. I don't like stone head, brainwashed ultra liberal mules, who are not able to make any communication just repeat themselves for decades.
I don't have problem with normal , liberal people who can understand other people's opinion. I have problem with liberals, who are the same as you.
