It is Start, All Programs, Accessories, Wordpad.

It will be in every Windows computer you can find and file incompatibility won't be a problem. You can upgrade to the other solutions later if you find that this does not do what you need.

Don't use notepad.

You can be using this suggestion in 30 seconds.
