Saving Sakic

Has anyone watched Saving Sakic on Amazon Prime? It revolves around the time the Rangers offered him a 3 year $21 million deal, including $15 million signing bonus. And the Avalanche who were broke had to match it within 7 days or lose him.

I faintly recall when that happened back in the 90's, basically after the Avalanche cup win in 1996. Sakic was a beast that playoff and won the MVP.

I watched it and it was OK...but to be honest, there are far more interesting stories out there.

Ya I found it a bit ho hum. Luckily it wasn't very long maybe 45 minutes. I wouldn't recommend.
