With having the superdome under water - where are the Sainti going to play their home games.
They don't play their first home game until Sept. 18th. Thats two and a half weeks.

The machine that is America can do wonders. Lets hope by then things will be back to the norm. Of course normalcy for those hit by Katrina won't be fully realized until many many months from now.

Can`t see them there at all this season. It may take 3-4 months before the city is livable again. Who`s going to go to the games?

They`ll likely end up playing somewhere else this year. When it`s over, the NFL will likely give New Orleans the next available Super Bowl as some small compensation.

They will most likely play their home games temporarily at LSU's Tiger Stadium in Shreveport, Louisiana. It is very adequate facitly that seats 91,644.

Not just to help The Saints, but also to help get the whole city back on its feet and as a great gesture on many levels, the NFL should build them a new arena. I'm sure that league, if any, could afford it.

It's in Baton Rouge, actually...

Wouldn't surprise me if they stay in San Antone. Another dome, so they don't have to adjust that much -- and they'd be the only game in town, as opposed to sharing media coverage with the Tigers.

Having said that, Baton Rouge seems to be the place most New Orleans refugees are going, so having the Saints there might be something to take their minds off the hurricane. But none of them are going to be able to afford tickets and I wonder how much of the college crowd could double up for ducets. Tiger Stadium is huge, but they'd need more than just sell-outs to make up for lost suite revenue from corporations. Lucky for them the NFL pools resources from the big-money things like TV contracts.
