Russia and China are both gaging the American will to send troops and risk American service lives, the so called blood and treasure, to defend Ukraine and/or Taiwan. For all his phony bravado and tough talk the other guy was shown to be a paper tiger. Well other than whimsically invoking tariffs. At least with Joe he means what he says and doesn't use laughable rhetoric which is aimed more at his base than his adversaries.

Im sceptical of this. Taiwan has built up a substantial defense force. And it's hella difficult to take an island. Sea landings are tricky and supply lines hard to maintain. And remember it wouldn't just be the USA. Britain has carrier groups there and between, Guam, Japan, Australia and more the USA could keep up aerial hits on ships trying to land forever. The cost to China would be enormous. And it would give the USA the excuse it needs sanction wise to take trillions, confiscate land and more. With many other nations following suit.
The funny part about that was the orange turds followers had no idea that they were paying heavy taxes for.chinese goods. Orange turd made them believe it was China paying. It'd amazing how utterly stupid his believers are. They would literally belive anything he tells them no matter how stupid or obviously false it is.
I don't believe for a moment that China will take Taiwan by military means.
Taiwan is very dependent on mainland China for its economy; It has outsourced most of its manufacturing to Mainland China.
One day - likely in our lifetimes - Taiwan will agree to a peaceful reunification, with guarantees of some level of independence for say 99 years.

China has too much to lose right now. They are a few years off. All that Debt owed to them would defaulted and their economy would be hit far too hard.

1: One does not simply blast corridors through prepared positions. Even with modern guided ammunition.
2: Landing spec forces isn't as simple as he says either. Transport aircraft are slow and very vulnerable and modern AA can be easily hidden for the right moment.
3: Talking about motivation he is right about Taiwan but not so much about the PRC, those little emperors know if they die their family line goes with them, trust me, I know from personal experience how much it will fuck with their minds... the sort of fuck that living almost 30 years in Canada and pushing 60 does not fix.
4: Also his comment about tanks is a bit off. Distance was an issue in the Falklands, but his other two examples were from a long time ago, we have better ways of landing better tanks. Must you have them, no, but they can be very useful if you can land them.

No one gives a fuck about Chechnya. It's a Muslim fundamentalist hellscape which just happens to be close enough to the oil fields for Russia to get very agitated about the place.
And no one really believed that Crimea should really stay part of Ukraine. And sort of the same thing re Donbass. I mean, who is going to start WW3 over 2 areas which are Russian-speaking and want to remain Russian.
But the rest of Ukraine doesn't want to be Russian and we're talking Domino Chain here w Belarus and the Baltics. The more the little Slavic goblin gobbles, the hungrier he gets. Poland, are you listening?
