Unfortunately the league gave Artest exactly what he was looking for...time off. Not only does he now have time to promote the CD he's producing, he's got all this additional hype surounding it. I don't condone what the fans in Detroit did, but Artest probably knew exactly what he was doing when he went into the stands and knew he'd get some time off from it. However, being the agressor in much of it, I think he got off light with 72 games.

Yes he has. But the fan that Artest assualted first did NOT throw it. Ron went after the wrong guy. In light of that he got the NBA punishment that he deserved. Now bring on the criminal charges on him.
