Heart performing live on The Second Ending, April 9, 1976.

The Second Ending was a cable access series sponsored by Washington State University. When this show originally aired, the band's first album, Dreamboat Annie, had been released in the USA only eight weeks earlier. The album had been originally released in Canada in September, 1975.

Heart were a local band at the time, based in Vancouver, but playing gigs throughout the Pacific Northwest. This is a rare opportunity to see a band just before they became very famous.

Three very different live performances by Eagles, from 1973 and 1974.

Desperado is a song which should be sung by a woman, and Linda Ronstadt is the vocalist for the performance from Don Kirshner's Rock Concert.

The CINEPACK, (Xvid .avi), files are better quality for download, but you can only watch the H.264, (.mp4), versions online. The MPEG4 file is the 37 second intro to the DKRC show, from a different source than the hour and four minutes TV concert.

I didn't really like Eagles' music after Bernie Leadon left the band. Glenn Frey and Don Henley wanted to try to reproduce studio recordings note-for-note in later live tours,, but I liked them more when there was some spontaneity attached to the live shows.

Little Steven & The Disciples of Soul perform on the German music show Rockpalast from September, 1982.

Other than La Bamba, (trombone), the rest of the horn section are German locals recruited for the TV broadcast.

I saw their show at Le Spectrum in Montreal on February 8, 1983, and I'm one of four people who has an audio cassette of that show. My copy is the only one dubbed from the master tape. One of my friends in Montreal was a concert bootlegger with an International reputation.

This is the very rare 'Spirit' rip. Spirit made a number of videos which he briefly shared on the eMule P2P app. He usually shared a file until one person had a complete copy, then he left it up to them to keep it in circulation.

I don't think eMule exists anymore. I haven't been able to connect to an active server in years.
