Also back in the day in Winnipeg I was in Grade 11 at Kelvin High School, and so was Neil Young. But we were in different home rooms and were not friends. I did see him many times with his original band "The Squires" at various high school concerts, and often as a solo acoustic guitar and folk song performer at the 4th Dimension coffee house on Pembina Highway near the U of Manitoba. Again an amazing and unique talent even back then. After one of his 4D concerts I went backstage to see him with a mutual friend, but there was no direct communication between Neil and me.
I cannot believe I've never even been to Manitoba in my 50 years of life. And its right next to Ontario. WTF.

Burton Cummings isn't the only National Treasure. Saw BTS twice, David Clayton Thomas hasn't been Prime Stud in a long time but his voice is still remarkable.

Born in England raised in Willowdale.

First single from the new Stones album, due out in October!

The boys must have taken a big drink from the "Fountain Of Youth" before this video was put together...

Burton Cumming's first band, The Deverons.

Record begins with classic "Farmer John" and leads into classic "Shout!" to finish.

After owning the '45 for over 40 years I sold it to Martin Koppel at Kop's Records. He paid me a bit higher than expected price, saying that early Canadian regional '45's were quite collectable...
