Guilty until proven innocent.
Seems all you have to do is be accused of something and you are guilty without a trial.
Have criminal charges been filed?
A crime may not have been committed...but inappropriate behaviour may have...an example to that would be asking a co-worker to see her tits or something like that may not be a crime but it's probably considered inappropriate.

I’m surprised nobody is mentioning the allegations from 2009, and 2010.... and I think also some tennis player he dated. If you remember, they all accused him of not disclosing his HIV status and was trying infect them.

.... story and allegations swept under the rug, with gag orders in the settlements. The weirdest thing this huge blast of this crazy story came out, and then everything just poof disappears.

They said he violated MLB policy (not necessarily criminal law). Just like our company has a "no hug" policy.

"Having a no-hug policy prevents a lot of misunderstandings and upset feelings. So, while a hug is a lovely thing to give and receive under the right circumstances, it can also be a charged experience. A hug could be an opportunity for bonding or a trigger to some painful trauma."

All our offices have glass walls. That way other people can see you getting a BBBJ from your female administrative assistant. It also protects the men. Next, cameras in each office.

A sad end to an otherwise wonderful career.

I wonder how may other athletes are going to be exposed in the coming weeks

The goalposts have moved. There have been some famous skirt chaser athletes from years gone by. Maybe something happened 30-40-50 years ago.

"Skirt Chasers" Have you seen how women approach pro athletes in night clubs and other social gatherings. They don't even have to try.

Mary Pierce I believe.........
Yup.

I wonder what he did wrong. It has to be something serious.
The victim is preparing a lawsuit, so I guess we'll find out soon enough

When there’s always smoke coming from the same building, it’s rational to conclude there is a fire somewhere.
How many times will he be given the benefit of the doubt? For MLB to take this stance suggests this is more than a misunderstanding.

We still don't know what Roberto Osuna did, sources tell me he threw his pregnant down a flight of stairs.

I'm against taking Alomar's name down from the Circle of Excellence. You have to separate the achievements from the man. By that standard Ty Cobb and Harold Ballard would have to be removed from their HOFs, that hasn't happened.

It's said that Mary Pierce loved sex, Robbie couldn't keep up, it cut short his career. Mary's career was cut short by a serious knee injury...loved her. She won two Slams, winning the French Open in 2000 to thunderous applause.

Central Ont. between here & there
I could be wrong, but the BHF is not removing Robbie from the Hall, just the Jays are from their row of honor. I agreed totally with you on Ty Cobb & Ballard, plus there are a few others that should or could be removed from various HofFs

Apparently, an external law firm was hired to investigate and concluded that he violated MLB policy. Bear in mind that internal policy is not necessarily a violation of criminal law.

We're never going to hear what really went on there.

Non disclosure agreement and all......Why would she risk all that cash she was paid.
...the temptation of even more cash? Fame?
