I`ve never used escort services, and one reason is a fear of the ramifications if I was busted by the cops. Has anyone here ever been busted? I'm not sure if it's reasonable to be worried about this or whether I'm just paranoid about something that is incredibly rare. There are a couple well-reviewed SPs I've been toying with contacting (that work out of their residences apparently), so it's not like I'd be picking up some unknown woman on the street...

Thoughts and insights welcomed.

You're being paranoid about something that's incredibly rare. A good way to determine how much law enforcement causes trouble for establishments in a particular area is to look at how openly the establishments advertise. If there are incalls in an area with web pages that tell you this girl does greek and that girl provides a bbbj, and there are enough reviews to know that the agency is established and isn't B&S, you can be very confident that police don't care about incalls in that area. LE aren't actually stupid enough to not be able to find such a web page if they wanted to, nor are they stupid enough not to know what the advertisements mean, so the agency wouldn't be there if the police cared. There's also the fact that as I understand Canada laws, they try to target pimps; there'd have to be extraordinary circumstances for there to be anything a hobbyist even could be charged for, but I'm assuming you don't want to be seen in the vicinity of a police incident (if you're seriously concerned about being arrested, then you are absolutely being paranoid).

Street action is another matter, as Stash says. Those not into risk should avoid the streets, and those who get off on risk should really see someone about that (and I mean a therapist, not a streetwalker).

Outcalls (the lady comes to see you) are perfectly legal in Canada. I only entertain at Hotel CB (outcall), so getting busted isn’t an issue for me.
Incalls (you go see the lady) are technically illegal in Canada. Incalls are rarely busted, LE’s only interested if neighbours complain or they get a tip off about underage activity.
As for street action, as other poster noted; STAY AWAY.

- prostitution is legal in canada and has been since the 1800s (providing sex for money)

"solicitation for the purposes of prostitution" is illegal (discussing/negotiating sex for money etc)

"operating a common bawdy house" is illegal - to meet the definition, needs only one girl and one client - technically an incall meets this criteria - however it is ludicrous to think the cops would do something under this provision without extenuating circumstances eg. underage sp, forced sp, significant drugs, complaints from neighbours (even then probably only suggest moving and keeping a lower profile)

"living off the avails of prostitution" is illegal - i.e. pimp - could also be used for boyfriend etc if they wanted to (drugs, abuse, forced sp, underage etc)

To make it easier on your self...If you do decide to see a Sp as an incall....walk in drop ur $$$...no discussion of a transaction has transpired! There for no law has been broken. I myself have an escort license. 30$ at city hall.!!! When you call you can use phrses such as,, what's the donation??..how many roses would you like??.... But like it is stated above... pretty much 0% for you to worry!! It's not CSI miami or anything

I have often wondered about the risk. I may have been paranoid but not that long ago I went to an escort service. Close to the location I passed by three police cars and when I pulled into the parking lot I saw a couple black suv's. The place was not that glamorous and it just looked suspicious to me. It could be that our Prime Minister was in getting some but it was hard to tell.

I went ahead with the visit anyways but I was very nervous. I can't see how going to a place that makes it obvious that they are an escort service is safe but that's just me.

I've never been overly worried about law enforcement considering it's pretty clear they're lax about this sort of thing (exceptions mentioned above, of course). My big concern is health risks... which is part of the game, I guess - but it's always in the back of my mind. Always.

If there is any escort agency that is ripe to be busted, its KW Kittens. There's only about 20 tenants in that building, so its a small community - and judging how the building looks on the outside, its mostly good hard working law abiding folk who live there. If just one of them gets a whiff that an agency is operating out of their building, law enforcement getting involved is a strong likelihood. That's why escort agencies need to be located in bigger buildings where high traffic is the norm.

The risk is quite low if you are dealing with the right girls. High volume girls who see clients well into the early hours are going to attract attention. A ew pointers for clients however. When a girl asks you to call when you arrive for a buzz code or room number DON'T do it in the condo lor hotel lobby. Do it from your car. Also pay attention when she gives you this info so you don't go to the wrong place.
Words of wisdom from a very smart lady.

A gift to you from her.

Be grateful. Pay heed.

Helena, obviously if a woman doesn't wear panties, there's always going to be some risk that things are going to be exposed to view.
