From my understanding, he'll be named King tomorrow, but his coronation will not happen for a few months.
I wonder how quickly the Bank of Canada will unveil new currency with our new monarch on the bills and coins. Will the cash with Elizabeth be worth something at some point? We all know Charles will not be on the throne for that long, so when will William take the crown...
Also, will Charles become King Edward or George, or go for something completely different?

Part of me has empathy for her. Can you imagine how lonely it is to be stoic and watch the British empire decline into a whimper in your lifetime and yet still treat former colonies with grace?

He's been "groomed" to be King since he was a toddler. I cannot see him abdicating. William will need to wait a bit.

Hopefully he'll abdicate and let William become king. But I think she was the last of the true monarchs. Brits are propably tired of dishing money for kings and queens.
Elizabeth sipped a table spoon of balsamic vinegar daily, if Charles does the same thing he can probably live into his 90's also. Most effective and expensive anti-oxidant there is.
