I remember his initial diarizing of his struggles back then. This final note was a real surprise and I am very sad.

I did not see or hear about him for quite a while and was wondering how he was doing. Very sad.

If you are older than 45, and from southwestern ontario, you will know he was also a cornerstone of the Big 8 radio station.

Very sad. Goodbye, Mark.

Little-known side note that he was the talking voice used in the Rush tune Subdivisions. (The video has Alex speaking it into a microphone but it was Daily's voice used in the actual studio session.)

First I heard of him was when he did High Witness News on the radio. I think it was Friday nights.

58. Pretty young but cancer doesn't choose.

Do what you want to do now you never know.

He'll be missed.

He first contracted cancer (prostate) in 2004. Beat that, but cancer returned in 2009 and had spread to his lungs. R.I.P.

Such a distinct voice that was made for broadcasting. When I picture City TV he is the first thing that comes to mind. Will be missed for sure. RIP

City TV died in spirit some years ago, but now his passing really closes the door on that era.

R.I.P.
