Happened to a friend in `19. Fell and hit his head at home in the morning, called his sister in the late afternoon feeling seriously rough. Checked over in hospital ER and chopper medevac`d to Kingston where a neurosurgeon was waiting. He died during prep that evening. He had recently retired following his wife`s death from an aggressive sudden cancer two years prior, they had plans in place for a great retirement together, you just never know. Fuck cancer too.
