Any particular aspects of science or wonders of nature you can pointbut if there is a god or intelligent design of some kind , that probably would have an impact on the way things are, evolution, nature and........ready for it?...science.
If a higher power created the universe then they created the laws of physics (etc.). Since those laws were created, it becomes irrelevant why they are there. Science studies them as they are. If some divine being wants to change things in the future, then we would have a new system to scientifically study. Whatever happens, nothing changes the scientific process whether it's applied to god's creation or to the randomness of events.but if there is a god or intelligent design of some kind , that probably would have an impact on the way things are, evolution, nature and........ready for it?...science.
Intelligent design is far less than that. Intelligent design is a cynical, bordering on fraudulent, political attempt to import the old creation myth into science classes where it does not belong. It is not a stand along myth and offers nothing of value to either science or mathematics.Intelligent design is a replacement myth that became necessary when the old and new testament authors lacked sufficient scientific skills to craft a believable story about creation. See that is why they should have taken science not just theology.
The only one that holds my attention at the moment is the fine tuned universe question.Any particular aspects of science or wonders of nature you can point
to as probable manifestation of intelligent design?
So, maybe we are just some Grand Dude's experiment/hobby???If a higher power created the universe then they created the laws of physics (etc.). It is an experiment/hobby only if the Grand Dude takes the time to suspend or changeSo, maybe we are just some Grand Dude's experiment/hobby???
Just wondering............................
Who says the god/grand dude is either one, or both !!!!If god is a hobbyist does he or she have a terb handle.
I guess one can argue that a less than fine tuned universe without any.......................

Could be that the grand dude was an impulsive kid, got our universe as a new toy, played with us for a few days (six if you believe the bible) and then left us forgotten in his basement. So, maybe we are just some Grand Dude's experiment/hobby???

Your 1st sentence sure would explain a lot of shit that happens in the world, no one or "thing" to look after us, just let babies starve to death etc etc.Could be that the grand dude was an impulsive kid, got our universe as a new toy, played with us for a few days (six if you believe the bible) and then left us forgotten in his basement.
Doesn't make any difference as far as science is concerned.
Yup. Still muddling my way through this one.I guess one can argue that a less than fine tuned universe without any
intelligent life can also be a work of intelligent design.
it could be an experiment that has not yet run its courseIt is an experiment/hobby only if the Grand Dude takes the time to suspend or change
the physical laws governing his universe once in awhile and in a way that affect our lives.
rld .... How unreligious of you !!!!it could be an experiment that has not yet run its course
Despite impressions to the contrary, I am not a member of any organized religion, and if you ask me if there is a god or life after death, my answer is "I don't know...but I sure hope so."rld .... How unreligious of you !!!!

That I suppose depends a great deal upon the lenses through which one views life.why would anybody hope there is a God, if there is, "it" is a real bastard.
Without knowing what an afterlife might entail, I might be happier just becoming a part of the food chain.Despite impressions to the contrary, I am not a member of any organized religion, and if you ask me if there is a god or life after death, my answer is "I don't know...but I sure hope so."
