The old very narrow Yonge and Bloor subway platform, that was scary during rush hour, it was so crowded that commuters would be standing right at the edge of the platform as the train pulled in.

Back in grad school remember taking a roadie to toronto....Back in the mid 80's...we found ourselves in some place with the word Brunswick in it....Brunswick house maybe? I remember long tables, waitresses bringing trays of individual beers rather than jugs/pitchers. And beer pretty much everywhere. It seemed full of yobbos turning into longshoremen just as eager to have a laugh as a go but in a weird, hockey kinda way. We had a blast, and my Montreal mate kept whinging about no smoked meat places to hit after beering up. LOL

Yes that would have been the Brunswick House.

Ahhh the Brunny. Lots of good times spent there with my shoes sticky from spilled beer and old friends. Can’t remember if their food was any good but it was the perfect location to meet with buddies in college.

I think it was right beside "Consumer's Distributing". You'd order something from a catalogue and then they'd bring it out for you.
Most of their products were cheap and crappy, also known as "Consumer Jobbers" lol

I used to work at a part time job near Yonge and Bloor during the early to mid 80's , so I frequented "The Brothers" restaurant on the west side of Yonge and "Alfred's Fish and Chips" on the east side of Yonge, anyone else remember those two establishments?

Cinema 2000 and Stoppers books on Yonge St. I couldn't wait until I was old enough to go in there and look at the porn.

When the Sony Center for Performing Arts was known as "The O'keefe Centre", I only saw one event there, Sheena Easton, back around 82, she was a cutie!

There was a time when you could insult a fellow classmate, co worker etc....by insinuating that their address is "999 Queen St, West"

Sue Johanson" sex talk show on Q107 in the late 70's. In high school all the guys thought her voice absolutely sexy and assumed she was hot looking, LMAO!
