It is interesting how Ottawa gets a bad rap. There must be some truth in the theory that the ladies simply do not enjoy coming to Ottawa because of the clients that they get here. I am in TO and just looked for someone to spend some times with. Cost is very similar $400 - $600 per hour ($300 for the risk of LL) yet cost of living is quite a bit more so either Toronto gets a discount or ladies are making sure it is worth their while in Ottawa.

Regardless, I have always said that the ladies 100% have the right to charge their rate so I will never try to negotiate it. Likewise, I have a budget and stick to it so there are certain prices I simply won't pay. I would expect that to be respected as well. I appreciate that not all things are equal and I do have the privilege of indulging 3 to 4 times a month but I stick to a budget and play within my means. I have met some wonderful ladies with this approach and like to stick to a regular or two. However, I also acknowledge that I have missed out on some amazing experiences as well but such is life.

To get an interesting perspective, bounce on over to the Ottawa strip club thread. You get two main conversations:

The first is complaining that the clubs aren't what they use to be, far less women, far less beautiful, far less 'mileage' and extras. Too many scammers (discounters).

The second conversation is people saying they will quit the club immediately if they ever try to increase the price of a song from $20 (the same price for about 20 years).

I'm sure you can see the problem.

Women leave when the, um, juice isn't worth the squeeze. If they get to that point can't raise their rates then they either have to leave the city, or retire. It's no different than any other business or profession.

Look at the thread on tipping, how many guys refused to even consider a $20 tip 'out of principle'. I'd bet that a lot of these 'retired' ladies are still seeing a couple of their high-end clients a couple times a year. I'd also bet that if prices here shot up to Toronto levels overnight we'd get a whole lot more (apologies for the crude economic term) 'supply' as well.

Gentlemen, you want better girls doing more, pay better. Personality I would love, love, love if we got visits in Ottawa from world class companions. Las Vegas has FS current Playboy models, New York has FS Victoria Secret and FHM models. Our city is literally between London and New York. Just imagine what kind of experiments we could have if we weren't bitching about a $40 upcharge for x or y.

Ottawa folks do not have any excuse. It’s luxury not a right. If you don’t have the means don’t be sting and try hawk for a discount. It’s not a bazaar. The prices are fixed. Especially considering it’s public servants! You know your budget right away considering you have the most job security.

Here is another anecdote. A well known escort, who was always booked solid, recently cut her trip short and said she would stop coming to Ottawa since the juice is no longer worth the squeeze.

My theory is the average Ottawa client is stretched financially and is cutting out on their discretionary spending.

Always kick myself for not booking a provider who retires whether I have seen her in the past or just never pulled the trigger. The good news is that I find it has never been easier to find someone new at a price I am comfortable with.

There will always be horny men and there will always be women willing to accommodate us. The market will dictate what that price should be. I find there are many providers out there that offer awesome experiences at a price that works for me.

There are providers that command a high price tag and that is their right. It would make sense that they eventually price themselves out of the Ottawa scene and retire instead resetting their price.

I agree with your theory. I think that the concern is that some of these guys are not simply cutting out on their discretionary spending but trying to force their financial struggles on providers by negotiating or haggling with them. Like another poster said, this is a luxury experience. If you don't have the funds, move on. Don't create an environment that makes the ladies not want to work here and ruin it for the rest of us!

Misery loves company. And like all anonymous forums also very easy for self righteousness to be ever present. I find it means those willing to be generous and spend are ridiculed and the flip side equally so.
Best as I can tell on here, like poker, is be taken all the way to a show down to show all the cards. I’m guessing many of the most reliable and reputable posters have their own dialogues with preferred providers out of the public eye

I don’t think they lower prices as they most likely factor what is worth it to do this work. I imagine they set prices as what they think is worth servicing us punters. You may think 500 is high…or even 250 whatever it is that’s what she decided she will accept in order to suck a dick.

Good take. I know at least 1-2 ladies, possibly Nadia or Mckenna have broken out expenses and it adds up. Suppose us punters need to be reminded from time to time this is an enterprise for the ladies to pay their bills and fund their lifestyle. And like all of us their costs have gone up.
Now it can be lucrative I’m certain but I figure there is opportunity cost.

Do they truly enjoy sucking dick? Perhaps but everyone wants to make a living so they can enjoy their Starbucks rather than settlin for Dunkin’ Donuts

I don't disagree and absolutely believe every provider should charge whatever number they desire. Just like every client will spend what they want to allocate to this hobby. There is something for everyone.

Many people enjoy their job or craft, but in the end it's making a living. As one sp said to me: "My pleasure is business and my business is pleasure!" Thar says all that need be said.
