No she's not compromising that's the problem. The Dems passed a bill in the house where they are the majority. Everything they wanted is in there. No compromise needed. Try again. That is certainly one of the sticking points. Both sides have compromised on number but ultimately it will be the content which makes or breaks the deal although it is unclear whether McConnell can deliver any number. There is a GOP contingent that believes that no stimulus is necessary.

That's true but in no terms is it the majority. There are some GOP members who area gainst a stimulus
McConnell has said that he will not agree to any package in excess of $500B which is a non-starter to both Pelosi and WH so at least for the time being stimulus is probably dead. If the GOP retains the senate then he will lily use same tactics as he did with Obama which means that unless there are some GOP defectors it will remain dead. Sad. I do believe that Mnuchin and Pelosi are doing their best to get a deal done.
