Haven't posted anything in quite some time, but I felt the need to let my fellow terbites know about what happened to me this afternoon.
Simply Splendid out of T.O. are continuing their visits to K-W this week and posted that REMY would be available for in-calls today and tomorrow.
Given that her body type suits my tastes and I haven't partaken in the hobby in a while, I thought I would take the plunge, even though the cost ($250/hr) was more like Toronto rates vs. K-W.
I called yesterday afternoon to secure my appointment for one hour and was instructed to call back today between 11-1PM to confirm my appointment, which I did at 12:30. Everything was good to go, I was given the hotel address and asked to check back a few minutes before my scheduled time for the room number. I arrive and call in as instructed 4 minutes prior, only to be told that she hasn't checked in with them yet and that she would check in with her and call be back in a "few" minutes. Wait around in the parking lot for another 15 minutes and think to myself, this is nuts, my time is valuable as well. I call the agency number back and the girl on the line tells me that she is still waiting for Remy to text her back. My schedule today is tight, so I can't wait around any longer, not knowing how much more time it will take for Remy to respond. I advise the phone girl that I can't wait any longer and that she should simply cancel my appointment at this point. What do I get as a response???? Not a "I'm terribly sorry" .... not a "We'll make it up to you next time" .... what I got instead was " OK.... have a nice day ... CLICK!"

Now I know that sometimes "Things Happen" and delays in a scheduled appointment time may sometimes be unavoidable. I had to call an SP once 10 minutes prior to an appointment to let her know I was on my way to the hospital instead, do to a family crisis. What I do expect from any agency however is some "CUSTOMER SERVICE". As a business owner myself, when I find that my services have left a client feeling they didn't receive the attention they deserved, I have always found a way to make it up to them in hopes of retaining them as a client. Apparently, the folks from Simply Splendid don't follow the same customer service ethic that I attempt to instill in my staff.

I resist the urge to place any blame on this to Remy herself, as I don't know the details of her situation and why she was delayed. It may have been unavoidable, and maybe not. I will probably never know. What I do know is that Simply Splendid could have handled the situation in a much better manner and perhaps retained me as a potential future client.
So, good luck booking with this agency guys and I hope you have better luck than I did. As for me, "Simply Splendid" is now listed in my books as "Simply Terrible"... and I don't see myself booking with them again anytime soon.

Good Morning Cruzin' sorry to have to meet again under such unfortunate circumstances. The good news is, now we understand why it seemed as though you hung up on us -- clearly there was something which interrupted the connection, we had thought it was you, and we see that you thought it was us. Regardless we did wait a moment and call you back and did not get an answer. We hoped you would call back during the day but you did not. The interuption in the call happened right in the middle of a sentence which would have been " Ok, have a nice day please note that Remy is in town for two days and her schedule is pretty tight but we will make it happen if you end up with the opportunity to come back. In addition we would like to offer you a discount for your inconvenience this time ... since we have not gotten word re the check in yet we dont know what the delay is at the moment but we will have an answer shortly. It is not our policy or habit to have clients waiting in parking lots (or anywhere else) and this occurs only when there is something happening beyond our control."
However the phone girl said you sounded extremely annoyed and impatient at the 12 minute mark, she was starting out with OK as her way of NOT giving you an argument and was not given the opportunity to say the rest of it, due to cell phone failure or reception issue or who knows. She was quite concerned and called you back as we stated and you were not able or prepared to answer her call at that time.
Thank you for sharing your extreme dissatisfaction with Splendid we will utilize it as a training tool for the future should something unforseen occur again - please accept our apologies for the 14 minutes of lateness .... in the end we learned that despite all our planning, and reminder system we have in place our location was quite busy and took a few moments to serve us adequately.

While I haven't booked remy (yet), I do regularly see jayda, and have found splendid to be always have been friendly and efficient.

Not sure whether it's due to her or the agency, but she's the only sp that doesn't leave me waiting around in a hotel parking lot for 10 to 30 min feeling spare...

I have booked several appointments with Splendid in GTA & Burlington areas; I have always found Splendid to be very customer friendly agency.

I had not see this review but didn't have a problem booking Remy and had a good time.

(Didn't mean to bump this previous review but I'm compiling links/pinks for a future review of my search for the perfect new spinner).
