I recently took in Gigli's The Shape of Water. I had to drive to Queensway Ciniplex to see it but it was well worth it. I got an unexpected surprise from the film.
FX distributes Murdoch Mysteries in the USA, it has worked out well. Yannick Bisson has developed quite a fan club. FX wanted a new show and the CBC gave them Frankie Drake Mysteries. The actress who plays Frankie Drake, Lauren Smith is in The Shape of Water. She plays Strickland's (Michael Shannon) wife. I can just imagine Shannon's buggy eyes getting peeled - they're real and they're spectacular!
