Another thing I find totally refuted by the facts, at least for us here, is treating water like some kind of incredibly expensive thing. Note I said EXPENSIVE, not useful/necessary.
Where we are water is extremely cheap, we have tons of it, so - I have had criticism because of the way I wash my dishes I use "too much water".. OR low flush toilets. I guarantee you that the cost of water from an economical toilet versus a standard one is maybe a cent or two each time - that is NOT much.
