In non-Raptors news, LeBron James re-ups with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Two years, $85,000,000.

Yikes.. Its being reported that Giannis is signing a 5 year supermax extension with the Bucks.

Are we ready to start Kawhai watch 2021?

5 years, $228,000,000.

It would be a poor investment to offer Kawhi 5 years at $228Mm or similar, he's 3.5 years older than Giannis.

On the much cheaper level, Flynn is looking solid for a rook. Hopefully he can continue to develop. A backcourt rotation of Fred, Kyle, and Malachi might be tiny but they all play a solid game.

The Toronto Raptors sign OG Anunoby to a 4 year $72,000,000 extension, the 4th year is a player option.

Especially after seeing the beat down the Mavericks put on Kawhiless Clippers. I understand he (Kawhi) will enter free agency after this season? If he is, then he also needs to get rid of Uncle Dennis
Just a thought.
Could Masai's leverage with MLSE include signing Kawai + Masai in a package deal with MLSE...

It's possible. But I wasn't really surprised Kawhi would chose free agency, it just means he will be getting more $$$. I just hope he reconsiders his decision on joining the Clippers cuz that team does not look like it will be challenging for achampionship and there is also the fact that Clippers will always be in the shadows of the Lakers.

The Raptors are probably lottery bound which isn't necessarily a bad thing. This is a league of superstars and we ain't got none. They have 2 borderline All-Stars, 2 above average players and a bunch of scrubs.

Against the Spurs on Saturday, Chris Boucher played 28 minutes and scored 22 points. He was the top scorer.
So yesterday against the 76ers, Nick Nurse in his infinite wisdom played Chris Boucher only 5 minutes. He did not score a point.

Malachi Flynn shone brightly in preseason. His reward by Nick Nurse? He has hardly been given any minutes. Why???

More and more, it is looking like Nick Nurse lucked out by having Kawhi Leonard to win the championship and buttress his resume. In reality, he might be the coach who toiled in coaching purgatory for decades. A sham. A fraud.
History shows FVV has issues playing against the 76's

Pascal could be a poison pill contact... How do you get qty 5 fouls in the last 7mins of a close game?

Imho Kyle played like Kyle. When Kyle was off the floor the rest of the team was lost to the tune of minus 40 points.

Even after all that. The Raps lost by 5 points. Embid could not be stopped. Gasol and Ibaka are sorely missed.

Raps are in trouble. There is no team chemistry. It seems they hate playing in Tampa - I dont blame them for that... No one is playing well other than Kyle and Fred. Sadly this might be a 20win team.

Take that Sacremento. The Kings were really celebrating in the 1st quarter. Raps turned those smiles upside down, baby! They are back ( and that was without Kyle!)
