Too bad she died so young driving to New Orleans at night and slammed into a transport truck and was apparently decapitated. What a waste. I think she was in her 30's and had 5 kids.

Correct. Jayne was married from 1958 to 1964 to Mickey Hargitay, a Hungarian actor, and a bodybuilder who was crowned Mr. Universe in 1955.

Their daughter, Mariska Hargitay, plays Captain Olivia Benson on L&O SVU.
