Exactly my point. Now why don't you learn the definition of racist which has nothing to do with sexual preference and get back to me.

Call me racists or a redneck, whatever but I believe people have the right to refuse their services to anyone anytime for any reason. On the race issue, I’m plain tired of people playing the race card whenever it is convenient for them. Hey look, I wouldn’t date a female if I had the knowledge that she previously dated the brothas, that’s my personal preference.

Here’s a scenario, one of my favorite dancers at the club that I’ve worked with for several years is only into the brothas and has been every since I’ve known her. She’s a really hot Hungarian girl yet she refused to get involved with white guys. As were good friends I plain out asked her why that is. She tells me that she really wants to have a Melato (spelling) baby as she thinks they are the most beautiful babies. Is that racist? No, I believe it’s a personal preference. The same as I choose to date girls that are only into white guys, the same as an escort has the right to only provide service to white guys.

Personal preference doesn’t mean its racism, it’s a preference but so many people are quit to label others as racists when they are exercising their personal preferences.

Actually that is racism. You are making a decision on whether or not to date a girl based on a race factor (i.e. did she date "brothas" in the past - that's not sexual preference). I mean you are right in one respect, it is personal preference, but it is your personal preference to be racist.

Then why is it ok for this dancer to only date black guys then?
Is it simply because it's Politically correct for her to only date because of her personal preference and others not wanting to date blacks isn't. Isn't that the old double standard?

TRD,

If you are making your decision based on the looks of a race it is sexual preference, and if you are making it based on race it is racism. I guess the question of whether or not it is racism in the dancer's case boils down to what you believe their motivating factors are. You stated that yours was based on race.

Ok I particularly like Latin women; if I said I only date Latin women does that make me racist? It’s simply that, a broad statement not based on anything other than that, a statement. Am I now racist because I haven’t given justification for my statement?

If I were against dating fat women does that make me racist towards fat women? I guess I think that there’s such a fine line between personal preference and racism that I don't like when people are quick to group others choices into that racism category.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, if I don't see a person as being beautiful for my own reasons I don't feel that’s racism.

I agree... that...

First and foremost… anyone has the right to refuse service of any kind to anyone they choose whatever the reason may be. Especially in the sex business.

Second I would personally never date or go out with a female who has stated that her preference is of a certain ethnic or her preference is ONLY that ethnic. Why? Because I live in the real world. I have not been hiding behind my Mom’s skirt half my life. IMNSHO in most cases (not all) there is a reason that is VERY dysfunctional as to why this is. If you don’t know, then you need to get out more.

BTW… I am not a racist… I just know the facts of life. If you want to because of the above statements consider me whatever… go for it.

Depends on your motivating reasons.
Am I now racist because I haven’t given justification for my statement?
No.

No, because it is based on looks not race. That's sexual preference.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, if I don't see a person as being beautiful for my own reasons I don't feel that’s racism.
LMAO. Beauty is a lot of different things to a lot of different people. I think in terms of generalizations we can say that beauty is the value an individual places on any given set of attributes that fall under physical appearance and personality.

Now, you said that you wouldn't date a girl who had a history of "brothas" in her past. Does the fact that she dated black guys alter her physical appearance or personality? If you didn't know her history and she didn't tell you, could you tell that she dated black guys in her past? How and why does the fact that she dated black guys before alter your perception of her?

Your decision not to date a girl based on that criteria has nothing to do with beauty (b/c it has nothing to do with looks or personality) and everything to do with race. As such it is racism.

Nothing to do with personality???

Nothing to do with personality? Is personal preference not something to do with their personality? IMO if someone says they will date ONLY certain ethnics... whatever it's Black, EE or whatever it has a lot to do with personality. Personality of both parties.

I don’t think it matters how good of a case a person presents in defense of racist accusations, it seems that once a person plays the race card the stage and tone is set.
People become tuned out to the various grey areas and the justifications for the other persons preferences as this discussion has show making the topic of racism a revolving discussion.

You're confusing the issue. TRD said he wouldn't date a female that had dated a black guy in her past, not one that ONLY dates certain ethnics.

Here it is:

That's a racist statement. You can't defend it on any grounds. You have to get past these questions:

1) Does the fact that she dated black guys** alter her physical appearance or personality?

2)If you didn't know her history and she didn't tell you, could you tell that she dated black guys in her past?

3) How and why does the fact that she dated black guys before** alter your perception of her?

The fact is that dating black guys does not change or (re)define who a girl is (in both looks and personality) anymore than it would her dating any other guy, and having that criteria based on race, is racism.

** Not black guys ONLY

Well said anya,

I, too, like all kinds of women, all shapes and sizes and all colours.

BUT I don't like men (to have sex with).

Does that make me a sexist?

Intuitively, the answer is obviously no. Why? *shrug*.

It's physically possible for me to have sex with another guy, so that's not the reason. It's just cuz the idea of having sex with a guy just doesn't appeal to me.

I don't see how race-based sexual preference is any different.

Re: Racism?

Anya said:
And I need you to tell me what it is? My role is whatever I choose it to be, and is defined however I choose to define it. Period. Your argument is that it's not racism when you pick an SP according to specific physical criteria like race, because you're the client, but that it's racism if an SP does the same. Nonsense. Racism is racism, no matter how you look at it. Trying to say that having a specific sexual preference or aversion based on race has nothing to do with racism is splitting hairs - it does at some level. The difference is, you can't help your reaction to someone sexually, it's not like you can take a couple of racial awareness seminars and learn to be turned on by black men if you're really not - it has nothing to do with who's paying the money and who's getting it. Making it into a matter of commerce ignores reality.

Me, I'm colourblind anyway.

Anya,

I've seen your numerous posts on here, visited your website and seen a few of your clips. I understand and respect your conduct in the business. That is not an issue here. My purpose is just to try to clarify what goes on during the process of conducting a transaction in this business.

I think it's you who is splitting hairs here. If you look at my argument in context I don't excuse racism on the client side. I merely make the distinction that as a procurer of the services, one may often choose based on fantasy rather than reality. Many racists may indeed choose ladies of different ethnicities to do the deed "undercover" as they are embarrased to have such liasions above board.

You, as a provider of a service have a perfect right to see whomever you wish. However, your general mode of operation is that you advertise to the general public. If your client selection criteria comes down to I will not see Asians, simply because you loathe Asians, that is classic textbook racism. Most ladies treat this as the business it is and provide services to well mannered clientele who have the money. I'm certain I've been with many women who wouldn't date black men in their private lives. I'm sure the majority of the men most providers see, don't meet their choice as a mate. That's just a fact of the business and that is indeed what ultimately reduces it to a matter of commerce. You'll hold your nose and do the nasty even if the dient isn't your ideal man.

Personally, I love non-East Asian girls and I am East Asian myself. Does this make me a racist against my own kind? I don't think so as I am a very proud East Asian!

When it comes to sexual preference, everything is totally different. It's like the laws of physics don't apply when your travelling at the speed of light ... sex and sexual preferences are the same.

Hence, when certain White SPs don't want to see non-Whites or when certain Asian SPs don't want to see non-Asians, I do not consider them racist.

Lastly, if I were in the shoes of The Real Deal's friend, who, was looking forward to a "mixed baby", then it is only obvious that I seek out a non-Asian to mate with. Besides, mixing races is actually a good thing because the baby will have healthier and stronger genes as well as look hot and exotic. And admit it, most mixed people are pretty hot both female and male.

EBS,

Basically your argument is that since SP's have sex with guys that they aren't attracted to, then they can't use the excuse that not seeing black guys is discrimination based on sexual preference, so it must be discrimination based on race. That's too black and white (if you'll excuse the pun.)

Let's face it, black guys look way different than white guys. I used the example of heterosexual SP's discriminating against other women not being sexist. You thought that example was absurd (it was meant to be to illustrate a point) b/c sexism has nothing to do with sexual preference. Fair enough, but I can claim, according to your argument, that the girls have sex with other people (men) that they don't find attractive, so the discrimination against women can't be based on sexual preference, so it must be based on sexism.

Your argument is flawed and inconsistent. If you believe that SP's can discriminate based on the looks of the female sex and not be considered sexist, why is it racist to discriminate based on the looks of a particular race? In both instances (sex and race) it can be said that the looks vary greatly across those categories. Logically then if the SP doesn't like the look of a certain group (to the point that she doesn't want to have sex with them) why not make it easier on herself and just not see the group? That doesn't make her racist or sexist as the case may be.

I only have views on racism because I’ve been motivated by the blatant use of the race card by people that use to get better standing for personal gain. Johnny Cochran, Al Sharpton, Dudley Laws these guys all turn every issue into racism regardless of the situation

Why is it when a black man makes a video portraying gangs, thug lifestyle and violence people claim he’s a great artist? When a white guy speaks out against the same video all of a sudden he’s a racist?
People all have different likes and preferences, I for one don’t care for white women dating black guys simply because they feel it’s trendy. I’ve found many women are dating the brothas for the wrong reasons.
Yet the dancer I originally made reference too, in my opinion, has discriminated against every other white male including myself. Yet I’m the bad guy because I point out the reverse discrimination and that makes me a racist.

Discrimination and racism go hand in hand, yet when a white person feels they’ve been discriminated against suddenly it’s because they must be a racist. Go figure!

P.S.
News flash for you, there are more of us so-called “racists” out there than you can imagine. We are tired of being labeled racist when we stand up for our rights like anyone else. If standing up for the decline of our rights as a race makes us racist that so be it. Proud to stand up for my right to speak my mind and always will speak my mind!

As usual this got way off track, preachy, and still misses the point. You can argue all day about racism vs. discrimination and all that. The bottom line is, if an SP doesn't want to have sex with a black guy, or a white guy, or whatever, it's her fucking perogative. Racist or not.
