Most of the drug trade busts in the GTA of late seem to involve mainly asians and eastern europeans.
Both groups being from areas where the standard British rule of law holds little significance.

I have never said whites don't commit crimes, we sure as hell do, just like everyone else. The point of this thread was in regards to the wholesale gang violence with handguns that seems to be plauging the city.

By making reference to the caste system I was highlighting that some of the strongest 'racial" type descrimination can come from within a "race" towards their other members.

It has nothing to do with money or property, like our tried and true class system was, it had everything to do with the shading of the skin.

I think you have your facts wrong here. They are all Indians and nothing to do with skin shading. Some are fair skin in comparison to the Brahmins and other castes. This caste system started centuries ago and these people were sadly the down-trodden in society. Their occupation centred around cleaning latrines etc. The great Mahatma Gandhi even called them Harijans which I believe mean "Children of God". He and other successive Indian leaders are desperately trying to right a wrong doing. Even today in every government and educational institutions in India, a certain percentage of the Harijans have places reserved for them be it educational or employment even if they do not meet the criteria. The term Asians in Canada are normally reserved for the Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Filipino etc. Here the Indians are known as East Indians and also includes the Pakistanis Bangla Deshis etc. I am told that there are a distinct type of Indians called East Indians in India, but they are from the Western part of India near Mumbai and are Christians - predominantly Catholics.
