my question is what will you do if you are being descriminated by your race in your work?will you do something about it?

If it is really serious matter, ask the Ont. gov't employment standards branch/ human rights commission what they can do for you...

Are you being sensitive or is it genuine discrimination?

Unfortunately, to be able to prove it, you need some evidence such as constant use of racial slurs/jokes creating a hostile work environment, or a systemic pattern of promotions/raises being denied to members of a particular persuasion.

...document every incident. With time and date. Be very detailed, even including the weather and temperature of the days that you write about. Should you want to pursue some legal route down the line, these journals will carry weight.

Actually you need next to no proof for the Human Rights investigator's to come to your workplace and make your alleged abuser's life very uncomfortable . Laws protecting individuals from racial discrimination were designed as a shield to protect people but now they have also become a club to lash out at your boss if you choose to .
If you are legitimately being discriminated against then call Human rights and let them do their investigation with the understanding that should they rule against your boss your name will be mud in the company and you will have no future there . Be prepared to move on when the investigation is complete .
Save yourself a lot of grief and 1) confront the boss with your feelings thereby hinting that if things don't change Human Rights will be brought in or 2) go work someplace else .

And remember all the boss has to do is say “Look at Ms X and Mr Y of the same race who are being promoted. I am not racially prejudiced. I am prejudiced because he is an asshole. He is a trouble maker, which is why I am firing him.”

Look when a minority s singled out it must be because they are non-white.......being competant is a non-issue

But often an incompetent emplyee tries to blame his problems on being a minority. If you only have 1 of a given minority working for you this trick can work. For a while.
