I wouldn't mind dating/marrying a dancer, mp or sp.

One question. Do you really enjoy dancing? If you do why? (the why could be a reason he want you to quit) Is it your dream job? I would support someone if this was the case, but I am guessing that money is your main motive for dancing.

If I was your BF, I would want you to work at something you enjoy.

I dated an MP before and here is some advice.

The past is the past. Good or bad it made you what you are today. He loves you today just the way you are. Don't underestimate the power of love. (sorry for being so sappy but it's true) It's what gets you through the tough times together.

Take a step back and try to see things from his point of view. Why does he want you to quit? Probably because he loves you.
